Thanks so much! I'm thinking of starting my Graphic Design and Advertisement business. I am starting by helping my Grandfather. I'm 16 and taking Graphic Design classes and have learned so much. I'm in charge of advertising his inventory and getting it sold. I believe that as a youth it's important to experiment with doing things, within limits, on your own. In Europe we are forced by law to hire an accountant no matter if you can do it all by yourself. In US you can function as a business without hiring an accountant?
i want to start a cake busniess, non license for the moment. I had a few clients already but I feel like my company name is so boring. also I feel like pricing is not as easy as it seems. clients some times dont want to pay as much and want discounts. and I feel like In the end it doesnt profits me or benefit me at all. I havent taken any classes but I know a lot do to reaearch and questions I made. anyways, question is, how can I established a more successful business as a beginner?

I do have a question: I see your iPad bare in most videos. Do you have any protective coating on it? I keep mine in a case, but it would also be nice to use things like the tripod, which would require taking it out of its case every time. It's a bit slippery, so I'm concerned about leaving it bare. I tend to resell my electronics, so I need to keep it scratch-free.
You know I have had my iPad for several years and no scratches. Typically no coating on it so it has held up well. If you are looking to resell then I would recommend using the coating just to be on the save side. Hope your doing great. Nikki

Fiverr is a good resource but you get what you pay for. You are definitely NOT going to get that back and forth collaboration for 5.00 but you will get that for 50.00 and UP!

Another tip, if you are going to set up a list for newsletters, etc., is to use a double-opt in one (Aweber is a popular one). And never buy, rent or trade lists (though you can promote another person's business and give out a link to their site for those that are interested).

Very helpful... especially website tips. More important to just having a website is the ability to regularly update and maintain your site as well. This is the most cost efficient solution for small business owners.
