I have been eating LCHF for over 2 months and have experienced great results. I've gone from being insulin-dependent for over a decade to haven't needing a needle since the first week past. I was curious about what your thoughts were on Tomatoes. I love to make chili, and I personally haven't seen any issues with it, but I've read some that support eating them and some that do not. If you have any info on it, it'd be much appreciated; thank you for your time.
Cesar Navarrete Since that post you replied to, I've used the insulin needle a handful of times, all based on making mistakes and eating items that had more carbs than I anticipated (salad dressings!! Grrr). However, when I've stuck to the ketogenic diet as instructed, my sugar levels have been steady, to the point where taking insulin would result in too low of a level.
Your way of eating sounds complicated to me with "no-egg days", "intermittent fasting days", and "I-don't-know-what-else-I'm-avoiding/eating days". In studies of high-fat diets, it was found that people were able to stick with that way of eating because it's simple and satisfying.
+BlackStarBlues You're right. The main goal is to greatly reduce the number of carbohydrates in your diet and eat more fats. It's not that complicated.
Rotating foods can help people who become sensitive to certain foods. Yes, low carb, medium protein & high fats is the simplest keto diet. However, for those who already have food sensitivities, rotating foods is a way to stop developing new sensitivities.
Great job Leanne! I have your “The Complete Keto Diet” book and it has been super helpful . I have lost 27 lbs. in three months and feel great. Thanks for your help. Nice to see a women from Calgary (my hometown) doing so well. You go girl!
it's hard to prepare dishes like you when one go to work early and get home late at night. I am a high Cholesterol case. I like your videos I learn a lot from the way you explain things so that the slowest person can understand thank u
You forgot almost any type of cultured, fermented veggie. Sauerkraut, kimchi, REAL dilly beans, etc. And mushrooms! Eat your damned mushrooms folks! Tons of nutrition packed in those little fungi bites. =]
I agree that cultured, fermented veggies are missing - love them! As to mushrooms - for those of us allergic to mold, often need to avoid them (though I sure do love the taste!)
Good info. Don't listen to the haters. I've been kind of following your eating style, but not on purpose! I just decided to cut out gluten, which naturally made me cut out a lot of sugar (mainly 'cuz I craved it less). Then I started increasing protein/fat in place of bad carbs. Every time I got on the scale, I weighed less. I didn't even feel like I was on a "diet". I was never hungry or felt deprived. Just this week, my Dr. took me off my blood pressure pill (so much for this diet being bad for cardiovascular health. I have more energy than ever, I sleep better, my joints don't hurt anymore. The other changes I've made: I try to make sure anything I consume is organic & non-GMO and any proteins are grass fed and humanely raised. I used to think vegan was the way to go, but I think that the human body was designed to run on the nutrients from animals. Goes back to hunter/gatherer diets. Our dog agrees. We took her off all dog food that had wheat or corn in it, and her skin rashes disappeared. Now her food is beef, chicken or salmon based and she is healthy, energetic and her coat shines. It makes sense. If she lived in the wild, she would catch squirrels, birds and fish to eat.
I have been on Keto for five weeks now lost 11lbs and love it, I had a gastric bypass 5 years ago lost 180lbs but over the past couple of years put back on 60lbs due to falling back into bad snacking habits, I cannot eat large meals but have small meals and keto snacks is that ok thanks
I'm sorry but if you're 'vegan friends' are also eating organic gelatin they're not vegan, i thing agar agar is much better if you want that gelatin consistency, just saying!
this video has a lot of information which is super helpful, but it was also really hard to follow. It might be easier to follow if you showed pictures or video of your day as it goes on so that it's not just listing off foods. I'm totally looking up all of your recipes though! I just want to help with some suggestions :)
Thank you for making this video, those were some great choices for meals. The only thing that would have made this video better was to either see pictures of the meals, or to actually see you make some of them, but I just found your channel today, so maybe you have made some of them. I will be watching all of them to see. :)
I really like everything you say, I grew up in a high fat family (my grandfather is a doctor and is very pro this method of eating) but all the plans I have found are quite tough to stick to because I am a student and never at home and am limited severely on money, but super keen to try out your style!
Hi Leane thank you for another awesome post. With Keto begining and reiterated in this video, I feel you have provided me with an awesome formula of meats veggies and fats that I can utilize and last week, my first 7 days on your meal plan, I feel that I have hit bulls eye. Macros were bang on with ease and mentally and with regards to energy levels I felt AMAZING. Still going too. I am now wondering how I might tackle carb ups though. Feeling this good now makes me cautious about increasing my carbs incase I get triggered into a binge 😕
A I'm a bit confused... are you doing a high fat diet only or are you going a more ketogenic route with very low carb? Just curious as I am on a ketogenic diet currently and have had great results but I always like to get opinions from others. Thanks.
You mention never heating olive oil but adding it in at the end of cooking. How would you cook something that would normally require oil or butter in the beginning of the cooking process?
Thanks, but I think the video would benefit from using illustrations as you talked about your food intake to make it more clear. Questions: 1, Doesn't Stevia and Corn trigger your sugar addiction? 2, If one exercise before lunch, then have an IF eating window for 8hrs... but also train in the evenings... is it really healthy (or possible when hungry around 10pm) to not eat anything after that, or do you have any smart solution? Keep up the good work!
Hey Caestus DeViking - You can check them all out here, if you'd like: instagram.com/healthfulpursuit 1) The waffles are corn-free, made with almond flour, link in the description of the video. Stevia does not affect my blood sugar. 2) I explained IF thoroughly in my book, you can grab it here: bit.ly/KetoBeginning I hope that helps!
Not that helpful, really. On sugar addiction, this is regarding an area of the brain so not all about blood sugar levels. Already know about IF in general, so not interested in buying any product, but wanted feedback on a specific part of IF protocols. Thanks anyway!
My mouth is watering. Sans the meat I think I'd love this. I had a fibroid removed and I'm really interested in the blood tests you got so I can request them from my doctor. Can you list what they were? Or do you have to order them individually?
Hi Leanne, I just love your Keto Beginning book! I'm stuck on one thing though. I work in a demanding job and I can never figure out what to eat for lunch. I tried (before I considered Keto) bringing greens and a scoop of cottage cheese but this just resulted in me throwing out a lot of smelly reusable lunch boxes full of rotten food. If I can't sit at my desk and eat something with my fingers while I type I'm just not going to eat anything. Do you have any ideas of what I can take with me to work? On days that I work is it a problem if I just skip your suggested meal but still follow the rest of the day? Any thoughts you (or anyone else) has would be greatly appreciated!
Amy Karnes Did you miss all the talk about butter and ghee? I prefer heavy cream in my coffee vs butter. it's just easier to stir in rather than using a blender for butter. Milk? Too much lactose(sugar/carbs).
Hi there -- just starting (day 5) and glad I found you. I can't tolerate grass fed butter (but can do other butters) and the rest of my diet is dairy free and coconut free. Can I equally sub in avocado oil for a blended coffee or the other places you would put in coconut oil? Thanks so much!
My girlfriend was on this diet for a year, it gave her huge gall stones, and now she is scheduled to have a gallbladder removal operation! You'll pay the price!
Thanks for the video, I need to source better fats and protiens during the work hours. I've been off and on for a while and want to get back on the Keto train.
Thanks for sharing, When you have prepared your meals, you may want to take a picture of each meal. When you have as many pictures of different meals and drinks that you enjoy. Then do an update of what I eat including the inserted pictures with a list of ingredients by the side, that would be great, it would be very helpful to us all. Thank you.
Just a small point on the lean meat thing. That could be a problem. To fully utilise that lean meat you need fat, and fat soluble vitamins. If they don't come in with the meat then they will be depleted from your body. If you don't trust your source of full fat meat you probably shouldn't eat that meat at all. As for toxins in meat, this is a double edged sword. It is true that toxins are found in fat. But they are also found in bones and organs. But that is OK we can deal with some toxicity, if we could not we would be dead since they are everywhere. The key is to make sure that the cumulative burden of toxins is kept manageable. By avoiding: 1. Processed foods. 2. Plastics containers 3. Plastic carpets, furnishings and coverings. 4. Wearing new clothes without washing (formaldehyde and other anti-fungals) 5. Over the counter medications. 6. Sleeping in an unventilated room 7. Drinking unfiltered water. 8. Mercury fillings and dental implants 9. Synthetic cosmetic products Avoiding these sources together with eating probiotic foods (as you do) buys you a lot of toxin eliminating capacity. All the vegetables you eat are effective at binding to many types of toxins and carrying them out of your body as are the probiotics. There is then less to worry about when eating some oily fish or lamb fat. The body can handle those toxins of it does not also have to deal with the sources listed above. Your other videos suggest you already avoid many of these sources so fatty meats from the best source you can find should not be a problem if you are not eating it daily. Avoiding good fats to avoid the risk of some toxins has been shown to be harmful in the case of oil fish in pregnant women. I don't know if it has been studies for land animals but I would be surprised if the results were different.
You do realize if you did this diet your brain would run on your fat, not be bogged down by carbs so your brain runs more efficiently, lol... After only four days on this diet, all my brain fog had lifted. It's really amazing.
I'm a guy in my 40's and am considering changing up my breakfast from whey and milk concentrate shake to contain only hemp seed oil, coconut oil and avocado oil. Doing this to balance my hormone levels which I think are totally out of whack, as I'm very fat. Thoughts?
***** She's actually not doing a true fast. What she's doing is a "fat fast" which is running off of fat entirely, no protein or carbs (there's nothing wrong with this, but it's a different beast entirely than simply not eating or consuming any calories at all for extended periods). A good blended or "Bulletproof" coffee can still contain several hundred calories. That's a pretty good-sized caloric load for a "meal."
+anuerimira Um, no. I guarantee she's getting every calorie her body probably needs. Just maybe not on the "every two hours" schedule some people are used to.
Drumroll418 So you're saying she's not putting herself at a deficit at all? And why not spend those several hundred calories of coffee on actual nourishment and food?
Because coffee actually has a wealth of benefits and scientific research to back it up, grass-fed butter is a rich source of fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and even K2, and MCT or coconut oil are some of the most readily utilized sources of sources energy in the body because of the MCT content? I mean, I drink my coffee black, but that's just my preference. Blended coffee still has its purpose in the right context and as long as you don't abuse it.
Right? I admit, I'm on a very strict, regimented diet. I started being all hardcore to keep myself in line to lose baby weight. But now that I'm in my range, I find the crazed food-religion people SO irritating! This chick is a breath of fresh air.
for sure. there is a difference with being focused on yourself and a goal and orthorexia. I've come against a few people who want to play the "you're doing it wrong" card with me but if progress can be tracked at the end of the day they have a bunch of hot air and i got results..
Sorry but most of the meals you mentioned contain hardly any fat. Most contained a lot of vegetables along side some meat. You have hardly mentioned any fat sources so what you are eating doesn't sound like a keto diet, it sounds more like a low carb diet. From the meals you describe you are not getting anywhere near 70% of your calories from fat. How is this a Keto diet?
Sunflower seeds, flax seeds, hemp seed oil (tastes like ice cream), she's making me hungry! Cottage cheese with flax oil vs Cancer I read some place. The same mix is supposed to change the way you catch photons and so stops sunburn, read that on the rexresearch site.
Lol, this is so complicated! So you have no meat days, no egg days, intermittent fasting days?? Seriously? If all those foods are so good, then why not eat them every day? This diet make zero sense.
I thought the same...however, I do find that when I am diligent in counting keto macros, I am able to to 12-14 hour fasts b/c I am just not hungry. Not whole days though. I take all advice in stride but ultimately listen to my body. It might be good in theory but if it makes me feel like shit, I don't do it.
+Cecy Gonzalez Polyunsaturated seed oils are delicate and heating them to high temperatures damages them and makes them carcinogenic. Additionally seed oils are often extracted at high temperatures and pressures which does the same thing to them. Get them cold (expeller) pressed and use them for salad dressings.
ugh im soo confused! now i dont know if u should be a vegetarian or do the keto. i thought eating meat was bad overall for digestive tract ughh im soo confused now
Haha that was my problem, I was vegan, now I'm eating fish and eggs. But still need to find a good source of fat. I don't wanna drizzle everything I eat in oil lol. I may just start eating beef steak and fatty chicken and see how it goes.
just had avacado, bacon, egg, spinach, onion sandwitch..... o so good.. and healthy too.. who says bacon isnt good for u.. its got fats and protein.. no carbs.. no nitrites or nitrate bacon ofc
I tried atkiins & Inter. Fasting for the past two years very sucessfully, this time I'm noticing hypoglycemic like symptoms like shakiness or dizziness. What could be the reason
Hallelujah! Never heat Extra Virgin Olive Oil !!!! I knew someone would agree with me. When it is heated it smells wrong and tastes worse, very acrid, not appetising at all. I buy locally produced organic e.v.o.o. in small amounts and keep it cool so it doesn't go rancid. Love your info, thank you x
ThePunkin8r What the hell are you talking about!!?This is bad info. You can cook with extra virgin olive oil. It has a high smoke point so it maintains well when heated. I cook with EVOO all the time....for YEARS. Fried chicken with it once and couldn't believe how good it turned out!! The taste was incredible. Did not have any experiences of what you described. DO more research.
Rahj2001 No it doesn't! It's better to cook with butter or coconut oil as saturated fats have a higher smoking point. I live in the Mediterranean. People use olive oil for salads not cooking.
Claire blue And I live in the Middle East. You keep thinking that. I just know something you don't. I'll keep cooking with EVOO and using it for whatever purpose works for me. Sometimes, "people" need to think outside the box.
Rahj2001 What authority are you? I mean, do what you want, but don't spout off about what is good or bad advice when I doubt you have any real knowledge about it.
HealthfulPursuit I'm with this guy, I have been into bodybuilding since high school and I did the cyclic ketogenic diet in 2007 for contest prep, works wonders.... but without 300-350 carbs a day you cannot bulk worth a damn lol Would be amazing to find a woman who is into fitness in real life, most just play on the cardio machines and pretend to like it hahah
Hello! I just f ound your channel! I have a question you've probably answered this before but I do not eat meat, I just don't do well digesting it nor do I like it, is there a way to do this without meat? I can do eggs but if there is a way without meat would you please share, thanks!
omg, i've been on keto for like 2 months and you eat so much more than i do! You're actually losing weight 3 meals + 1 dessert? I'm pretty sure, for me, that would increase too much insulin. I had to go down to 2 meals per day and my stomach isn't big enough to fit as much you do :P
im so confused after watching all kinds of videos saying to lose weight but all of them say different like someone says eat low carbs diet, someone says eat high fat high protein diet, some videos says that i should starve. im endomorphic with a height of 170 cm and weight 230 lbs. i need to lose at least 8 stones of weight plz help me.
they are all wrong including this video, theres a huge protein myth that says we should eat up to 50 percent of our calories in protein which is wrong. Also , we do not need that much healthy fats in our diet. carbohydrates (good carbohydrates like potatoes, rice and fruit , not donuts and pop tarts) are where a bulk of our calories should come from + vegetables. Diets like the one in this video are a fad diet and bad for your health. If you want to lose weight and not feel like shit then eat a good amount of carbs, and your protein and fat needs will automatically be met. Protein deficiency only happens on a weird diet like eating only apples or in alcohol abuse. Stay under your daily caloric goal and you will lose weight! Eat healthy and natural plant based foods + very low amounts of meat if you prefer and you'll be golden.
Same with me, Whinny. I tried vegan for awhile and it made ME feel worse, however, I do support the science and observational benefits the diet does have. My body feels better on high fats, with a little but of berries/low sugar fruit, NO SUGAR, HONEY, STEVIA, etc. I love animals, but yes, I eat them, despite public judgement and crucification. ;)
I can name a bunch of thin low carbers, (Andreas Eenfeldt MD, Michael Eades, M.D., Dr. Bill Lagakos, Sam Feltham, Emily Deans, M.D., Zoe Harcombe,Dr John Briffa, Diane Sanfilippo,Peter Brukner MD, Chris Masterjohn,Dave Asprey,Janet Noome, Tim Noakes MD, Peter Attia MD, The Lady in this video, Abel James, Chris Kresser PHd, Laura Jones, JJ Virgin, Bob Briggs, Prof.Grant Schofield, Dr Gary Fettke, Denise Minger, Gary Taubes, Jorge Cruise, John Kieffer, Matt Lalonde, Mary Enig, Cardiologist Dr Aseem Malhotra, Dr. Maryanne Demasi, several NBA players, myself, etc...or you want me to continue) but by naming this 5 people, you show us that you are just a parrot repeating what you heard some place else, bcs Cordain is paleo advocate, not LCHF, Atkins was high protein, Sally Fallon is the head of Weston Price and that is traditional diets and works for restoring nutrient-dense foods to the American diet through education, Lustig is against sugar not LCHF and Davis is against wheat, not LCHF, so there you go. The thing is that if you are T2D, carbohydrate sensitive or insulin resistant, your better deal is a LCHF lifestyle, but if you aren't, eat whatever you want as long is not processed, and BTW, why don't you go troll some vegan video ?
Jorge Luis Garcia OK so a lot of the people you named are either not long term or they are definitely gaining extra weight. The people I named are people that are big names in the high fat / high protein community. Parrots can speak the truth as well. So besides a diet promoting death and torture, it's a diet that simulates starvation and sickness. Can you stay in ketosis long term? Our body go only goes into ketosis when we are sick, starving or we are on a FAD diet.
HEAVY///MANNERS sorry, but you got no idea of what you talking about, first, since when the people I named are no long term in ketosis and are gaining weight ? you have to lie to make a point ? show my a picture of any one of them not being lean. Second, I've being in ketosis for 5 years next March...I'm 54, 5'10" 179 pounds but 32" waist size. Believe what you want, but don't lie to make a point. For me this is the end of a pointless discussion. Bye.
Jorge Luis Garcia will do some videos for ya! And you should really start putting some videos out cause if you have been in ketosis for 5 years... that is DEF worth sharing with people.
She sounds like she's more on a low carb diet. Which is alright since the keto diet is mainly for very over weight people that need to go on a diet and shed weight to improve health. Once you are slimmed down, I would recommend to get off keto and just do a low carb diet.
How is this a high fat diet? It sounds more like a high protein diet. It sounds to me that your energy intake ratio is 60% protein, 30% fat and 10% complex carbs.
For pictures of ALL of the meals I've mentioned in today's video: instagram.com/healthfulpursuit

Tj Lee Wait, you have diabetes, and with LCHF you dont need using insuline anymore? Interesting

Tj Lee because you're starving your body... Holy shit!
Tj Lee EAT FRUIT
Would be nice if you show a photo of the meals......

Still looking for the 'what it looks like' part
What an intelligent, properly planned video! And wonderfully narrated: clear, to the point, complete, extremely informative.
I just started a high fat diet and I'm LOVING it - great channel with great info here!! Thanks so much:)
Yay, thank you so much Low Carb Sarah! ❤️😍 Just keep going!
Great job Leanne! I have your “The Complete Keto Diet” book and it has been super helpful . I have lost 27 lbs. in three months and feel great. Thanks for your help. Nice to see a women from Calgary (my hometown) doing so well. You go girl!
way to bring it! thanks for what yer up to here!!
What are your thoughts on grass fed cheese? I didn't hear you mention it so I assume you don't think it's optimal?
Thanks!!
When making risotto I cook with butter and drizzle with olive oil at the end, so its not heated.

Would you recommend ketosis for a type 1 diabetic?
Hi Becky Bakes - I've worked with diabetics and HFLC eating. Best to check with your healthcare provider :)
Becky Bakes check Dr bernstein here on youtube! he's a doctor, type 1 diabetic and has been on a HFLC diet for more than 30 years ;)
You are obviously benefiting from this diet and clearly it is working for you, you are brilliant and full of energy!

Thanks so much for sharing..... I am learning so much from your videos!!!!
Hi there, what about cheese? Which type of cheeses would be good for the keto diet? thx
just found this video.... how closer is this to the Atkins plan?
I have been binge watching you for a few days now👍😎Thx!

Hi, I'm interested in purchasing your book, I viewed the link. Is this a E book or a physical book? Thank you advance I'm eager to read it.
Thank you.
Gerry Gold thanks for the suggestion!
I can't eat pork/bacon or any dairy products (except for butter).
Will your program still work for me?
Mia a you bet it will! The program is completely dairy-free and pork products can be replaced with plant-based options or chicken
By avoiding:
1. Processed foods.
2. Plastics containers
3. Plastic carpets, furnishings and coverings.
4. Wearing new clothes without washing (formaldehyde and other anti-fungals)
5. Over the counter medications.
6. Sleeping in an unventilated room
7. Drinking unfiltered water.
8. Mercury fillings and dental implants
9. Synthetic cosmetic products
Avoiding these sources together with eating probiotic foods (as you do) buys you a lot of toxin eliminating capacity.
"Described as" not "Looks like"
You do realize if you did this diet your brain would run on your fat, not be bogged down by carbs so your brain runs more efficiently, lol... After only four days on this diet, all my brain fog had lifted. It's really amazing.
Hey there! Is it possible to go on a high fat diet on a budget? It is safe to do without the rocket fuel lates and supplemental collagen?
I'm a guy in my 40's and am considering changing up my breakfast from whey and milk concentrate shake to contain only hemp seed oil, coconut oil and avocado oil. Doing this to balance my hormone levels which I think are totally out of whack, as I'm very fat. Thoughts?
You're fasting and having coffee... No wonder you're "energised" and losing weight.
Drumroll418 Coffee is still a stimulant, and she's still in a caloric deficit. It's no different than any other diet.
Oh so you can add the blended coffee to meals?! So why is it that in your book it's at the top as if it's a meal on its own?!
blended coffee...?
That was very helpful!
I drink crio bru mixed with 20 grounded coffee beans with coconut oil and blend it tastes great!
You mentioned lean meat. Shouldn't you go for fatty meat as it's healthier and cheaper?
lol beef is not cheap and not healthier lean meats like chicken pork and fish all have great fats beef is great for men because it boosts testosterone
If it's pasture raised/grass-fed then yes.
Find you to be very fascinating would you recommend this diet for somebody who is stream the overweight?
Which collagen are you using? Bulletproof Upgraded?
What is the different between collagen and gelatin?
thanks for having a softer less cult like attitude than other low carb people.
AHA! Finally a short straight to the point explanation.
It might be good in theory but if it makes me feel like shit, I don't do it.
what's wrong with cooking with grapeseed oil?
Do you ever do email consultation?
just had avacado, bacon, egg, spinach, onion sandwitch..... o so good.. and healthy too.. who says bacon isnt good for u.. its got fats and protein.. no carbs.. no nitrites or nitrate bacon ofc
+Dominate why do you solve this people is good we are overpopulated they are solving problem look americans who eat like this dying now in 40-50 s

Haley Cox lots of flax and vegetables! Here's one of my favorites: www.healthfulpursuit.com/recipe/flaxseed-focaccia-bread/
Haley Cox cardboard
What's with all the questions about fiber? There's fiber in vegetables, people!
where do I purchase collagen?
Jessica Newton ebay :)
Are you avoiding GMO food stuffs?
what brand of collagen do you by?
I tried atkiins & Inter. Fasting for the past two years very sucessfully, this time I'm noticing hypoglycemic like symptoms like shakiness or dizziness. What could be the reason
Lack of sugar? Do you eat enough? I think you should go to your gp or be seen by a specialist and get blood tests done good luck ^.^
+Bernadette Shepherd Thanks
I'm on LCHF with a primal twist you must be on something a little different cause there's no corn products in the ones I'm following ?
Why can't we sauté in olive oil
You're right, you should keep it cool (not refrigerated just cool) and also dark (it should be in bottled in dark glass never plastic).
Claire blue And I live in the Middle East. You keep thinking that. I just know something you don't. I'll keep cooking with EVOO and using it for whatever purpose works for me. Sometimes, "people" need to think outside the box.
Rahj2001 What authority are you? I mean, do what you want, but don't spout off about what is good or bad advice when I doubt you have any real knowledge about it.
sorry, but missed what the M C T oil is?????
This is all too complicated
I would have given this a thumbs up had this actually shown the food and recipes. Listening to you talk about food is not interesting at all
God I love this woman....! Full of GOOD info and not dribble....*thinking about proposing*
Rahj2001
HealthfulPursuit I'm with this guy, I have been into bodybuilding since high school and I did the cyclic ketogenic diet in 2007 for contest prep, works wonders.... but without 300-350 carbs a day you cannot bulk worth a damn lol Would be amazing to find a woman who is into fitness in real life, most just play on the cardio machines and pretend to like it hahah
Rahj2001 shes hot too
Can you eat fruits?
im so confused after watching all kinds of videos saying to lose weight but all of them say different like someone says eat low carbs diet, someone says eat high fat high protein diet, some videos says that i should starve. im endomorphic with a height of 170 cm and weight 230 lbs. i need to lose at least 8 stones of weight plz help me.
and im a vegan.
they are all wrong including this video, theres a huge protein myth that says we should eat up to 50 percent of our calories in protein which is wrong.
Please make a video on veganism and why you stopped! I'm still searching for what works best for me
What it looks like, the title says. You just talked. We can't see amounts.
Why not a healthy vegan diet?
Because that shit is garbage
+Jason Duncan it's obviously garbage. That's why it's working for thousands of people. And the planet. And the animals. Obviously.
Same with me, Whinny. I tried vegan for awhile and it made ME feel worse, however, I do support the science and observational benefits the diet does have. My body feels better on high fats, with a little but of berries/low sugar fruit, NO SUGAR, HONEY, STEVIA, etc. I love animals, but yes, I eat them, despite public judgement and crucification. ;)
if you do well on vegan more than likely your a blood type A, blood type o does brilliant on low carb protein diet check it out peeps
Vegan≠healthy
Ok at the end you mentioned the fruits
Why are all the high fat long term promoters over weight??? Loren Cordain, Atkins, Sally Fallon, Robert Lustig, William Davis...
And you should really start putting some videos out cause if you have been in ketosis for 5 years... that is DEF worth sharing with people.
most people that are overweight on this diet have either not been on it long enough to get to a maintenance weight, or are cheating, its that simple
omg freelee you NEED to get on the case
She sounds like she's more on a low carb diet. Which is alright since the keto diet is mainly for very over weight people that need to go on a diet and shed weight to improve health. Once you are slimmed down, I would recommend to get off keto and just do a low carb diet.
How is this a high fat diet? It sounds more like a high protein diet. It sounds to me that your energy intake ratio is 60% protein, 30% fat and 10% complex carbs.
Why do you put all that stuff in your coffee?
I just try to balance out my fats, carbs, fruits, and vegetables. lol I guess this is just craziness...
You look very healthy. Your skin is radiant and the whites of your eyes are very white. Thank you for videos. I have subscribed.
But you said you were going to show us what it looks like.
