Mahidevran seemed happy when hatice got angry at hurrem but her smile quickly faded when hatice started talking about her rights and how she’s different from them. Mahidevran has expressed in the past how she doesn’t like how they’re not treated as human beings (until they give birth to a prince and even then they’re not as important) I really liked this small detail.
Hatice:" I have many rights. I was born a sultana." And she was also forced for the first time to marry an old Pasha who died immediately after the wedding. Brittany, I think bcs of the colour of her hair. Do we call that red hair? It's a nicer colour than copper which is too dark. She's chunky but has great womanly curves and has very good looks.
Because she has red hair it suits her...in those days also women with curves were favored. It meant they were fed and taken care of...it is understandable in a world where most people ate once a day and did not have a variation in their diet. Most people were poor and did not know if they could survive bad winters o a war....and desease.
The character of Ibrahim has changed so much before and after the death of Leo....and it's so obvious by his acting... Vibes r completely changed..... Sultan knows vety well how to put people in their places...
When Suleyman told Ibrahim that the peace behind his loyalty has left him, he was letting ibrahim know that whatever he is lying about & keeping from him has to do with Hurrem. There was absolutely no justifiable reason for Hurrem & Ibrahim to have been alone EVER, and since Ibrahim cant come right out and say what happened without also incriminating himself he has to swallow his tongue. He backed himself into a corner with the Leo situation.
@@gwalladinff9028 I guess Suleiman did not wan to stress hurrem further.. remember that point of time she was pregnant and I suspect showing signs of mental trauma from Leo death
Hurrem blamed Ibrahim for killing Leo and he also told the sultan whether he know what paragli had done, sultan knew Ibrahim hated hurrem and seeing her in such a state and blaming him for it,moved the heart of the King, even though he loved Ibrahim as a brother hurrem was his heart,so the pasha messed up by killing Leo and hurting the love of the King
And when Ibrahim was with hurrem it wasn't a short amount of time either.....Suleiman had been seated in gazebo....requested a drink and told sadika to let them know he was waiting...sadika brought the drink.....attacked him......and still they hadn't come out!!!!!!! Lot of very suspicious time passed
As a king, when someone speaks with too much authority in your presence, you start suspecting them and their audacity. Pargali was too arrogant even from the way he speaks. Piri pasa was also a grand vizier but his speech was calm, firm and subtle. Ibrahim was always shouting and speaking with an air of arrogance when he's just a nobody. He forgot he is a slave and has no royalty or prestige lineage.
@@rya3191this holds true, even today of the people who rose from grass to grace. Ibrahim though, never for a second forgot his roots, even his gait, still like a fisherman😅. For a slave, he has lived out the best life, not even a free man can live the life he's living.
Everytime someone utters a word, Hurrem takes it as a challenge. It's like giving her a hint and telling her to go for it. For example Mahi says Mustafa will be future Padisha, Ibrahim says nobody can come between me and sultan, Hatice says Hurrem is slave and cant be royal.....

I love how Hürrem got mature since, the day she came in the palace. At that time she was 17 and Mahidevran might be in her early 20s. The fight between them is obvious. But, one thing which I noticed is that Hürrem became intelligent for her love while Mahidevran became fool(immature). That's what matters in the end. Ibrahim's fault was getting involved in women politics and flavouring mahidevran, he should have been loyal only to sultan, if sultan shifts his love and interest to hureem so should he.
He favoured Mahidevran because she was a kind and loyal wife but Hurrem was a cunning, arrogant slave who was ready to fight with anyone for no reasons and she also slept with a guy before becoming slave of Sultan Suleimaan. War tactics are super good as long as Ibrahim uses them against Suleyman's enemies. If he uses them against Suleyman, by helping Mustafa over throw the sitting Sultan, that's not so good for Suleyman. Don't forget, Suleyman understands Ibrahim's loyalty to Mustafa and Mahidevron better than anyone.

I think you confuse Hatice with Hurrem or a slave, Hatice did not become proud because she heard that she will give birth to a son, she is just happy to have a child, but she does not need a son or a child in general because she is a free woman and a princess, she was among all her brothers and sisters, her father's favorite child, Suleyman's favorite sister and don't forget that her mother was a princess who was married to the Sultan. Only Hurrem and the other slaves need a son to be important, the rights Hurrem obtained when she gave birth to a boy were only a small part of Hatice's birth rights.
I loved the last part, in general I really like sultan's poetic and humble personality. Also, this drama clearly shows how much turkish people love and respect their own history, my country would never make a serie as epic as this one!

I do believe that Sultan Suleiman, knew that Ibrahim were hiding many things... Such as the killer of ayse and even the attempted killing of Hurrem. He knew that Ibrahim was protecting Mahadevran ang Mustafa from the start. Suleyman obviously knew the strength and weakness of Ibrahim as he mentioned his closest friend and brother. So many faults that Ibrahim committed but spared by Sultan however, after the attempted assassin's of Sultan by Sadika, He showed coldness to Ibrahim.. there relationship started to change and then Hurrem added it up by showing hatred to Ibrahim as well 👍...
It’s amazing that Suleyman never knew the extent of Ibrahim’s treachery against Hurrem, and it continues later this season. What happened to Leo absolutely traumatized Hurrem and Suleyman never knew the truth.
if you pay more attention to zumbul-agas actions you can see that he's jelaous of nigar and Gul-aga because they are close to Hurrem Sultan. He wants to be loyal to her but didn't get the chance in earlier episodes :)

Brittany, I think bcs of the colour of her hair. Do we call that red hair? It's a nicer colour than copper which is too dark. She's chunky but has great womanly curves and has very good looks.
@@thescribe7117 yes! People these days se so into skinny skinny skinny in those days her shape was the more desired!
Because she has red hair it suits her...in those days also women with curves were favored. It meant they were fed and taken care of...it is understandable in a world where most people ate once a day and did not have a variation in their diet. Most people were poor and did not know if they could survive bad winters o a war....and desease.
And red for real
The character of Ibrahim has changed so much before and after the death of Leo....and it's so obvious by his acting...
Vibes r completely changed.....
Sultan knows vety well how to put people in their places...
It’s very good acting too. When you can feel the emotions of the character they’re trying to portray.
But I do wonder why Suleiman didn't question Hurrem, why only Ibrahim?
Agree
I like how Sultan Suleiman is able to see through Ibrahim. Ibrahim is cruel and a pest
A pest is one word for him
Try arrogant evil vicious manipulative cruel and many more uncomplimental words
As a king, when someone speaks with too much authority in your presence, you start suspecting them and their audacity. Pargali was too arrogant even from the way he speaks. Piri pasa was also a grand vizier but his speech was calm, firm and subtle. Ibrahim was always shouting and speaking with an air of arrogance when he's just a nobody. He forgot he is a slave and has no royalty or prestige lineage.
So is hurrem
I hate Ibrahim from these episodes I wish same as Hurren for him to die
@@rya3191this holds true, even today of the people who rose from grass to grace. Ibrahim though, never for a second forgot his roots, even his gait, still like a fisherman😅. For a slave, he has lived out the best life, not even a free man can live the life he's living.
Everytime someone utters a word, Hurrem takes it as a challenge. It's like giving her a hint and telling her to go for it. For example Mahi says Mustafa will be future Padisha, Ibrahim says nobody can come between me and sultan, Hatice says Hurrem is slave and cant be royal.....
Was thinking same .. Can't agree more .. 💯💯💯💯
I appreciate how Sultan Suleymans always put his Allah or God in every thing he does. He’s a man with a heart tho on their own religion,he always acknowledged God’s grace and guidance, this how i like him a very intelligent man and full of wisdom and loving!

Last scene of this episode when sultan makes his grave just to overcome his arrogance and Talk about who made him victorious. Masha Allah 👌👌👌👌👌
The importance that Ibrahim lost is because he was attentive more on harming hurrem than working for and guarding sultan and being busy for the empire
And Sultan saved Ibraham from being killed in cave at castle of "Sadika " wedding from the prince who was about to kill ibraham- thats why " sadika wanted to kill Sultan

Kindness is not beneficial if you aren't intelligent while being evil is not risky if you aren't fool. Be both kind & intelligent, both are necessary.
👍👍 your right...
Hurrem was around 15 when she came came and Mahidevran was around 20 or older
Mahidevran is only a year older than hurrem in real history
@@sanobersattar7174 but if Mustafa was already 6 when Hurrem came in the palace when she was 15, Mahidevran couldn't have given birth at 12 or something right? and she must have been in the palace before that as well when Sultan was with Gulfem so its a lot of years

Yes, Ibrahim Pasha was really a great commander with brilliant war tactics. Too bad he became too arrogant and proud.
