And congrats, beautiful bike :) Regarding the exhaust heat in shorts, when driving it isn't much of a problem, but if you stand at a traffic stop, I couldn't handle it, my leg got cooked up... It literally burned me. I'm 6.4 and the bike looks perfect for me. The X version is bigger so that shouldn't be a problem ;) Cheers!
@@alxridepov Hey, The whole reason slipper clutch exists is to prevent the back torque caused due to aggressive shifts by providing a limited slip between clutch plates. The slip stays till the engine and the real wheel speed aligns thereby preventing wheel lock. The whole point of blipping the throttle is for the aforementioned reasons. I would say its an habitual practice 😉. Rev matching can be beneficial, Tis is how I would sum it. Safe riding..........................
@@alxridepov I went to Triumph on Friday afternoon and tried the 1200 X: great bike, I liked the engine very much. I didn't suffer the heat, I had jeans and it was about 25°C here in northern Italy... I took a ride around my city for about 30 minutes. I guess it's different in summer, ciao!
Hey, I would say it's all round bike. It can also handle some offroad. But I ended up not liking it cause of heating issues and the price. For what you're paying, I would expect much more.

Heat: what about if you wear trousers?
Hey, in another test which I didn't record I wore trousers, but that didn't help much. I think the only solution would be some kind of heat-shield.

A lot of heat... that's one of the things that I really didn't like. It was hard standing at the traffic lights cause it was burning so badly.
