Love these eggs. Would it help to line the fiber mold with thinfire paper strips to keep the edge of the eggs straight/smooth? Just thinking out loud. Love this as way to use up scraps of glass that you can’t bear to part with😊. Thanks again for all your great videos. So inspiring.

I love your channel and creativity because you always make it so fun! By the way, for some reason I had it in my head that you had moved from the UK to AUS, LOL! I didn't know you were in Croatia. I bet it is beautiful there! Would love to see some of the sites that may have inspired some of your beautiful creations. Thanks so much for sharing, love all of the fun projects! :-)

What is the wire that you use to hang the pieces?

It's nichrome wire, but try to protect your kiln shelf by putting a bit of fiber paper under the wire. The wire can leave residue on the shelf that can mess up your future projects.

May I ask what you used to cut your stencils? Card stock or something heavier? GREAT projects!

I really enjoy your videos. I admire your skill and talents. I tried the eggs yesterday, so I'm waiting for my kiln to cool to see the results. Thank you for your videos please keep them going 🙃🙂🤩

talk to me about the gel glue. I hold pieces in place with super glue, but it can cause issues sometimes

I use the Bullseye Glastac Fusing Gel most of the times. It dries hard in about 30-40 mins. It can be problematic too, especially if you use too much of it and then don't wait for it to dry, it can bubble in the kiln and cause glass to jump and shift. But most times, if you're careful, it does the job and leaves no residue. I do use super glue for some project, like when I want to grout between the pieces of glass, but then I use the cheapest possible super glue as it burns off better.

I'm a beginner and this is a cute project. My question is, on the eggs you had predrilled holes in the glass, does the hole remain open during the firing process or do you have to put something in the hole to keep it from closing up? Thank you 😊
