Awesome stuff! Would love to hear a TACP talk about what its like living and working primarily with the Army as an Airman. (quality of life, command structure, etc). Its kind of a unique aspect of being a TACP that I can't find much info on. I don't really know what separates a TACP from the Army and connects them with the Air Force as it sounds like they primarily live and work with the Army.
One thing i did learn about joining Guard/Reserve off the street is that you have orders after initial training and you are looking at a couple years from first day of BMT till you are into a traditional guard/reserve tempo.
Hey guys I’m not sure what you guys would know about this but I’m currently an e-3 in the air guard I’ve been training for 5-6 months for TACP and was hoping to swap to Active, I finally get to a point where I’m confident in my scores and I put in my package to transfer and my commander turns me down how should I go about swapping I’m not sure what to do but it’s very infuriating to train and get told no before the pipeline starts.
There is a new memo, out from the AF, that states all Airmen wishing to cross train are allowed to do so, regardless of career field manning. Hit us up on IG or info@onesready.com if you need it.

Really enjoyable interview, guys! Indeed, Illinois ANG, 169th ASOS is the TACP unit.
More TACP stuff!

Hey there, is this the case for going Guard TACP "right off the street"?
Yes.
I’m planning on joining Guard unit from off the streets. Are you saying the pipeline is faster if you join active duty with no prior service?
19:20 the JTAC walk, always love hearing these.
Thats our guy!!

Thank you for sharing
Can you go TAC P in reserves if you go Active reserve ? I’m prior service .
Yup. Depends on the unit.
Are there guard opportunities for all the whole special warfare umbrella?
I don't think Gaurd is taking Special Warfare enlistments right now unless you are currently Active, same with Reserves
Do air guard tacps deploy with both Regular army and Army national guard or one or the other?
Whoever requests the TACP gets the TACP. Sometimes active duty units, sometimes national guard.
