In SFII starting from Super Turbo. Regular final boss is M. Bison, but if you perform good enough, you will face Akuma
In SF Alpha final boss depends on a character. For Ryu, Adon and Dan final boss is Sagat. For Ken and Sagat is Ryu. For Chun-li, Birdie, Guy, Charlie, Rose and Akuma is M. Bison
For Sodom is Guy. And for M. Bison is Rose
In SF Alpha 2 same.
Ryu, Evil Ryu and Gen-Akuma
Ken, Sagat, M. Bison and Sakura-Ryu

Secret bosses aren’t considered final bosses. A final boss is the last person you fight in the game normally without fulfilling any extra requirements.
@@Unchainedful in that case , he shouldn’t have shown akuma as the bus in the super street fighter turbo and hyper turbo too because the final boss is M.Bison but akuma is a secret boss and only appears if you defeat everyone without losing a single round .
Okay M.Bison is more popular character but Gill is the best Final Boss of the series, you are fighting a GOD and matches against him is hard as hell

I never realized how crudely reimagined Street Fighter was on the SNES....
When I was a kid I never really noticed that sounds were redone, sprites redrawn, all kinda stuff demoted in quality, from the way it was in the arcade version.
they really tried hard on the port and made it arcade-accurate and thats all that matters

I remember when I slid my first 2 quarters into SF2: The World Warrior way back in the day when they had coin-op arcades at bowling alleys. Subsequently I became a scratch bowler, but that is another story. I always like to play the big dudes so it was a tossup between Zangief and Blanka, who isn't the biggest, but looked the sickest. I went with Z. Probably the most new user friendly character to choose. 6 buttons. Unheard of at this time. I mashed and then shit started working. A body slam, a pile driver, and what looks like he is trying to squeeze your liver over and over and I was hooked for life.
I would probably get destroyed if I picked up a controller today with all of the changes they made over the years. I'm kinda hoping they get a final boss in a future game that resembles Jack Johnson. He would be the size of Abigail, but a bit more cut. Would be a great counter for Balrog's character and yes, I am suggesting a decent storyline around Balrog to shake things up a bit. Doesn't always have to be Ken and Ryu. Plenty of future story for just about any character. Everyone is going to have some personal issue, but each release should have a theme supporting a character. That way you can play each character's story and get even deeper into the lore.

Don't get me wrong man. I freaking hated playing bison back in the day when Street Fighter 2 first came out. I remember getting my ass whooped 70 times in a row before. I actually started learning how to fight him. Kefka on the other hand, that was the first time I remember really feeling hate for a video game character.

As someone who hasn’t played SF the amount of variations for 1 of the games is very confusing
Bison in Alpha 3 / Zero 3 is a very dangerous boss
But quite easy if you know how to deal with him. Just avoid his Psycho Driver and you will defeat him with no issue. The Psycho Driver is 5x more powerful than the Psycho Crusher and in Shadaloo-ism M. Bison can't use his regular Psycho Crusher so once you manage to block or avoid his Psycho Driver then Bison is as good a sitting duck.

Yeah I was really trying to figure out what was happening on alpha. I used Charlie and we kept fighting bison 😂. Me and my homies were in college playing it on ps3, my roommate downloaded it on his. We spent like 2 hours trying to beat bison with Charlie. My two other homies came in and we were spending another hour in a half trying over and over until I got lucky and killed him 😂

While that is true, in Alpha 3 if you play the game as Evil Ryu, then Shin Akuma was the final boss and not Final M. Bison.

Bison was the overall *Big Bad* for over most the SF series since showing in Vanilla SF2 before he had to be toppled *4 consecutive times over* before he was finally killed off (SF2, SFA1 -3, SF4 & CT, (CT doesn't count on this but he has made a appearance in that crossover game though) & SFV) Akuma might've been the *bigger threat* of the SF series but he was only a *sheer menace* & only deemed those worthy enough (mostly going threw the whole arcade roster w/o using a continue or losing a single round in the whole session) was when he made his presence known.. but at his *prime* as he owned total control over the Dark Hado's Power that those dubbed as the Satsui No Hado. though he has been toppled twice in *2 seperate Hyper SF2 games in it's series* He's Live to Flee To Fight Another Day. Seth in SF4 & (& it's 4 milked expansions) was ironically just Gill cloned as a android & given full self awareness & could copy & use *every move/skill of every fighter possible* from just *seeing it* much like Akuma, he'd end up toppled over, but he'd Live for the sequel to show up anew (also w/ Jun's personafided copied appearance might add) in SFV: CE. Lastly Gill was a *Actually Celestal God Personafided as a Killing Machine Martal Arts Master* (Kinda like Gouken but less on being Old though in age & appearance) & his annoying trait behind him was he could *Self Regenerate* (how his Resurrection Passive Super was) nearly making him *Unstoppable To Destroy* though. Much like Seth & Akuma before him though, he *has gotten toppled* over in *3 seperate expansions of SF3's series* back to back hard. & he just... survived & lived to head over to SFV's expanded game since then. 😐
