we got a cat fountain because i read about how it encourages cats to drink more and from other people’s experience their cats love it. also, we’re getting our kittens from a friend’s cat who had babies and they love drinking out of a fountain too :)

Is dry meat okay and how to make it ?
Is it okay to:
In the morning
1/2 cup of kibbles -> split into half and one half has water added the other dry (to clean their teeth)
In the middle of the day (6hours after)
I put a little bit of wet food with some dry organ/meat with a little bit of bone broth + some supplements if advised by my vet. (Everything equal to 1/2)
End of day (after 6 hour)
Wet food + dry meat + dry kibble +bone broth + pumpkin purée (home made) - to help prevent diarrhoea + secretly put a fish oil capsule (recommended by vet only )
Please tell me if this is okay?
While I don't agree with the fears of raw feeding (raw feeder here with no issues at all) I'm so glad to see you feeding a balanced wet food based diet at least! Kibble as the main diet is complete trash. Personally I would never feed it under any circumstances. If we ever need to travel or anything with our cat we bring along a freeze dried version of her raw food, absolutely no problems.
AMAZING job with the toothpaste! Not many people keep up with their cat's teeth! Tooth absorption is a huge problem in elderly cats!
I think the laser pointer is okay, so long as you swap off onto a real physical toy after chasing it, my baby personally enjoys it and doesn't get stressed.
CATS BEST! Our favorite litter!! The only issue is they track it everywhere, so daily vacuuming lol but honestly it's worth it, it really is the best everrr
And harness training! Our baby is harness trained too! So many points on cat care we agree on! Awesome! I love it! Keep it up!

Hazel is so cute I’m getting my kitten in four weeks she looks like hazel but is mostly white I can’t wait for some advice I heard clumping litter isn’t the best for kittens but I’m not sure if it’s only for clay litter I also recommend cardboard cat scratchers my mams cats love them other than that your doing great can’t wait to see her when will you be getting her?
It’s not recommended for kittens under 2-3 months as they can play/ eat the litter and it will swell in their stomachs but they’d have to eat a fair bit of this litter for it to cause any issues, as it’s made from plants rather than something manufactured, or like clay. As we’re obviously getting a weaned kitten (who will have had litter training from the family) she will be old enough and safe to use the litter we picked ☺️ I make cardboard scratchers for my bunnies, so she will have one homemade rather than purchased 😄 Coming next weekend hopefully!

Just plan wet food is really bad for their teeth! You should never feed just plan wet food. Unless it’s a old cat with few teeth. She is a beautiful kitten. DO NOT JUST FEED WET FOOD! It is very bad for their teeth!! Ask your vet!
My vet is aware of her diet and this is misinformation, wet or dry food with added sugar will cause teeth issues, as will not brushing the teeth. Wet food is much better to provide to prevent a whole host of health problems and dehydration, I have linked a few papers in the description but I can find more if you need 🙂 Teeth brushing is recommended by vets if you are able to desensitise them to the feeling however a lot of households may feel uncomfortable in their handling to do so, or have rescued cats that do not tolerate handling at all.
I feed a mix of food to my cat of wet and dry she loves it haha. But mine will drink from standing or non standing I feel like raw isn’t for everyone also I’d limit your kittens fish intake as that can lead to the same issue as not drinking enough water

My 4 love cardboard scrachers. I still say 2 is better as they play and cuddle together.
Maybe we will get two eventually as there are arguably enrichment benefits, when we don’t have our free range rabbits (Wayne and Mavis). For now we are only getting one as they are facultatively social, so don’t need same species company, and there’s also a lot of disadvantages to getting two at the same time as well 🙂

By the time someone gets a kitten they should be able to eat wet & dry food. If not they are far too young to be away from their mum
Tooth brush is un natural and un needed it’s a wast of money. Dry food helps keep their teeth clean. And yes the chew sticks are great
Most chew sticks are for marketing and do not help with dental hygiene, the best solution is regular dental appointments with your vet and feeding only dry kibble is linked to many health conditions such as urinary issues.
brushing my cats teeth helped her teeth and the dry food was doing nothing! and both of my other cats still got dental disease with dry food it wasn’t cleaning their teeth at all 🤷♀️ my vet recommended to me to brush my cats teeth before she develops dental disease
