    No way that’s som tosnoff. Tom Sosnoff has a hat stitched into his head. Removing it would be like surgically separating two conjoined twins.

    This is really helpful information. I love that Tasty works to educate viewers. Is there an ideal DTE when opening an IC? 30-45 days or more/less and why?

    • @chasereed7141
      @chasereed7141 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, Tasty Trade research has shown that 45 DTE for options selling strategies including the IC is ideal or the closest you can get to 45 DTE. The reason is theta. Theta decay really kicks in around 45 DTE and when selling options theta is your friend. Cheers!

      @@chasereed7141so do they still recommend taking it off around 20 DTE or 50% of Max profit to avoid high short gamma?

    The win rate is useful, but without knowing the average win, we don't know if this strategy has positive expectancy. Is that what we are supposed to get from ROC?

    Corrections behave similarly to Bear markets, so, if prices have ducked under the 10ma and/or 20ma, whether or not its a known bear market or just a bull market correction, you should tighten those wings up and/or consider trading a different strategy all together (as Sosnoff appeared to almost say a few times in this video)

    Hi lads! I’m new to options, and I was just learning about scalping! When you are scalping options, how do you go about selecting your expiration ?!

    • @OurNewestMember
      @OurNewestMember 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh - I would use the option to scalp the underlying, in which case I decide how much time I need to scalp (eg, 5 hours, 1 day) and then pick a little later expiration (eg, add one day).
      Similar could work for scalping the options themselves, but I try to minimize churning those contracts

    Would it not be a more Universal and useful metric, to identify strikes, in various time cycles, using the strike distance from price as a percent of the price, and or, using multiples of ATR?

    • @OurNewestMember
      @OurNewestMember 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Their argument about "the probabilities don't change" and "markets are efficient" is that, by selecting a delta or standard deviation, you are achieving the same effect by using the option market prices as the indicator.
      Not sure I agree or disagree, but I think that's what's going on here

  • @lukeh.8495
    @lukeh.8495 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    $5 wide wing - does that mean we +/- $5 on each side of the strike price? Or is the total wingspan is $5 (i.g. $2.5 each side)?

    By 25 delta IC do you mean sellin 12.5 delta put and call each side?

    • @chasereed7141
      @chasereed7141 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No. They mean to sell both the 25 and -25 delta on each side.
