I ended up buying many of these cars! Which was your favorite?
This was a nice surprise!
I like that Int’l Scout II Rallye. And that short bus is sweet!
Scout Rallye
Two choices. The Ford maverick and red big ford truck w/side stake bed that you kept walking around.
The right-hand drive Sweptline Dodge that you won't sell me.
I cant believe the knowledge Shawn has, he remembers every option his cars have.
They need to fix the belts on that loader😂 the black ford pickup was the best
Thanks for the fieldtrip Silas!
Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
Another great video it was really great to finally hear Shawn talk I always see him in your videos but I don’t remember ever hearing him talk.. It’s always a pleasure watching you and your adventures..
One thing you can say about Shawn, he's honest !
Great that you're able to help Sean out. The Desoto's have my vote. 👍👍👍👍
I can’t help but think about the life of these old vehicles from their beginning to now just like old abandoned farmhouses and barns. My youngins think I am just an old sentimental geezer with too much time to waste on the past, when I used to drive by an old automobile bone yard and tell the kids just think about when these were new and people were driving them home from the dealership, the new smell and the pride of driving a new car. The old farmhouses we’d drive by and I’d tell them think about all the great meals cooked and served in that house and the happy times several generations growing up there and then the sadness of it being abandoned and falling apart, I know it’s a part of life…… well maybe they’re right.
Great to have a good friend like Shawn. He certainly knows his stuff!! Great to actually hear him in a video after seeing him so much....

Looks good Day 😀
That black 67-69 Ford truck was my favourite. It looked really complete and tough
Shawn seems a real good guy to work with, i'm surprised that he had so many cars!
That Plymouth valiant is a keeper
I enjoyed seeing all the old cars. They don't make cars like that anymore. Thanks for sharing.
I am trying to clean up my Dads stuff . Watching this before going to bed will probably give me nightmares.
Always a great day for an adventure ✨️
It's amazing how much knowledge you and Shawn know it's crazy! That is true car love!
What funn! I loved hearing you two talk about all your escapades and deals. And I don't have to deal with the stickers!!
I really like your adventures Silas!
In Australia those Valiants were called the R Series. They had those eye style taillights, the spare wheel bump and the floor mounted 3 speed. Only 900 odd were sold and are now extremely rare. The next model was the S Series which deleted those last 3 items.
There's water on your lens or something.
We love you Silas
Thanks for another great video. I like the 70 Plymouth Satellite/Belvedere. I owned one and drove it from Connecticut to California and back in 1970.
Too bad most of the cars have their front and/or rear ends taken off. They must have been beautiful cars.
Thanks for your nice video. Looking forward to the next one. 👍
That mustard yellow 4 door Maverick would make a great sleeper...drop a 302 into it and away you go
Most of his Cars and STUFF will go to Your Yard - hey - that's gonna be Interesting ! You bought some Cars from him - show us next Time ! Brilliant Video and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Good Evening There My Good Big Bro Silas Of Adventure Made From Scratch
Every vehicle tells a story, don't it!
33:42 The red GMC truck looks very nice.
Like the 52 Chevy and the 59 and 60 Chevrolets
Great video, I really enjoyed that, thanks.
I saw a light tan 1970 Buick Le Sabre that if I had lots of money to burn I would buy it & make it new again, It's my all time favourite.
59 Chevrolet full size has teardrop taillights and the 60 model has the 3 taillights. also the 59 is like the one you are looking at and the 60 has an oval full front around the grill & headlights The Biscayne is a 1960 model
I hope the price of steel is up, as 90% of that stuff is only worth scrapping. But if he would sell those DeSoto
Hemis, that would be nice.
Many of these cars have 1-2 items that are worth double the scrap value of the car
Treasure Trove yard. The red Caravan is super long, it must also be super rare.
Art is in the eye of the beholder! It’s just looks like crushers to me 😊
Thumbs up, great video, i was overwelmed in the first 5 minutes, just like some of Mr GoodPliers videos
5:06. The 59’s have the bat wings / cats eyes rear. That’s all you need to know! Edit 6:08. Haha You know the drill!
I love the old short bus
Another great video! Always time well spent on my end.
The valiant is very cool

THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT CONTENT
Love the cars
Love your content 👍
Crushers don’t have a problem flattening them here in northern MI.😎
It's kind of weird how all the windows are hectic clean😊
Wassup
The black Ford is awesome
That Blue 72 1ton Ford truck with the wrecker just wondering how much for the cab with the front end. I need the hole truck cab
The 53 Ford dog house is a custom cab, very cool.
I used to sit down on egg crates and chain link fence and let them drag me around😂
If I lived closer I would make an offer on the '55 Chrysler in the video.
Silas, a bit of old gold from the past , which could be salvaged if you know the market and what your looking at for sure. Thanks for the tour . A lot of clean up and sorting out to be completed. .
Aaah haha...cars are cool
He has alot of great stuff along with alot of stuff that can be crushed
You need to clean your truck window. LOL
I noticed u have a lot of Vegas I love them cars people here in Deep south Alabama loves to build Drag cars out of them
Ask Sean what he wants for the white dodge extended cab and the yellow maverick 4 door
Maverick got crushed and the Dodge was someone else’s
In the parts Game you Definitely need your own property Good video Silas
Hey Silas, have ya ever had any old 2 stroke SAAB cars? I have one, wish I could get it restored! I saw the one in the video a few days ago ago when you walked that guy’s yard with that cute dog! He should have gotten some pets from you though! I dunno if that SAAB was a 2 stroke 3 cylinder or a 4 stroke Gerbman V-4 though, as that year could have either. The 2 stroke triples are also German, made for SAAB by DKW. The early 3 cylinder ones were 750 cc and later ones were 850 cc which mine is, and the first ones, the model 92, which also had “suicide” doors, had a transverse mounted on the passenger side, 600 cc twin 2 stroke. The triples were all longitudinal mounted, slanted over like a slant 6 Mopar, but leaning the opposite way, and the V4 was longitudinal as well, and still front wheel drive. The trans-axle was VERY similar to a VW bug one, 4 speed on the column. All the 2 strokes were third port, AKA piston port induction so had no valves or associated parts like a camshaft, push rods, etc, and transfer and exhaust ports, so the triple had only 7 moving parts-3 pistons, 3 rods, and the crank, and the early twins only had 5 moving parts-2 pistons, 2 rods, crank. And they sounded like snowmobile engines for obvious reasons! 2 stroke cars are among the coolest and most unusual car power plants ever! Most of these SAAB cars ran in gas/oil mix you did right in the tank-a quart bottle of 2 stroke oil to a full tank, about 35:1 ratio, but the “sport” high performance 750 cc engines were no mix oil injected! Hope ya learned something from this! I love all things 2 stroke including GM Detroit diesels, larger Cleveland Diesel GM division diesels, and GM EMD diesels in locomotives and other big applications, many are 710 cubic inches per cylinder as compared to a 6-71 Detroit which is 71 cubic inches per cylinders and beautiful engines you can rely on that sound DELICIOUS 🤤!! Cheers man! Keep it coming!! 😋👍🏻👌
My fave was the old Valiant. I had one exactly the same, even the same color.
👍👍👍👍👍
Maybe give your truck windows a clean 😂
I wonder if the international headlight lens turned purple from decades in the sun like some old bottles do.
2:44 I am going to ask is any of the Dodge or Ford trucks rollers that would run with some honest work and a few parts. In the market for a good truck project. Thanks again Silas and Shawn
I’m from the northeast and what you call rust we call “patina”.
Need to save the 70 Plymouth 4 door
Sean and the other guy that helps you sure looks like they know what they are doing.
His memory is encyclopedic when it comes to cars
All the Mopars
All in all looks like a lot of work😅
I love watching the show and the walk around at wrecking yard,I saw the group of old chevy 3100 trucks, rusted front cab ,looking for a cab body tag for one ready for the crusher ,if he has a tag for sale please let me know,,thanks Don
The lincoln was tops.
Boa noite amiga esses vídeos inspiram as relíquias que nossos pais avós no passado possuíram e bom ver essas raridade abraços Arlei mande in Brasil 🇧🇷
AMC's and the ford's.
Did the burn car get crushed?
Whatever happened with the pennies you found in an envelope in the semi trailer? 43s if I recall correctly.
Yes that guy is cool Peace out
If that Maverick was a 70-72 (small bumper car) it would be way more desirable. The 73-77 models aren't as popular because of the big, ugly bumpers.
Hope he saved the Scouts
HI SALIS, THAT VALIANT, IN AUSTRALIA, WAS KNOW AS THE AP5 OR AP6, AS THERE WAS2 MODLES ONE WITH THE SPARE IN BOOT LID ONE WITH OUT.
❤
Any kb international pickup parts cab front clip
429 Ford pickup
AND THERES A GREAT DOOR ON THERE ....LMFAO I LOVE JUNK DUDES WE R ALL THE SAME
👍
MMMMMMM 429 YUMMY
63 Mercury, I just need some small parts, who do I contact for them? Thanks Silas.
That one is mine now
They should put a big new fence and some bad ass dogs
Mate keep the sumsbags out
I hate thief's how stilling the hard to get parts from the hard working man mate
What is your focus to save and get valuable parts like glass etc or just cash and space they take up? Do you work with others and internet sale like rare spares so that all chances are given to be saved or used, if rust is to bad just has to go?
Glass is usually the least valuable part of these cars. I will likely make what is left into art, grab a few parts, and then send the rest in to be recycled.
Sounds like 2 salesmen trying to out sell each other , got to look hard to find much on some of those but still some hard to find pieces.
Also looking for a Willy's Coop
Scrap n crush Lot of that stuff is to far gone and picked hard....
Looks like a sled
Hi Silas I’m knee to this how do I get in touch with you
