WOW!!! Old school! My life would not have been the same were it not for Bob and the rest of the pioneers of bmx freestyle. Here I am 33 years old and still riding as often as I can. 20 years and counting... I'll ride til I cant ride anymore!
I was at this show and have never seen this footage, at 20 seconds there I am with the blue and white mongoose shirt on just behind Sir Bob...cool..thank you for postin this.
Bob is a true bmxer- he is also a business man , though. Meeting him makes you realize that he lives for bmx and has done so much for freestyle- only a handful of people come close.- thank you BOB!
WOW this looks really old. People all over the world were sweating us. Its funny how the interviewer really has no idea what to ask... Bob haro was well spoken, good interview... I had his bikes when i was a kid. I miss those days.
Yes Peepz! Still got the BMX Action Hot Shots Book, all the big names...anyone remember the frosties Bmx programme with Andy Ruffell from the 80's...Awesome!!!
those are some small ass ramps, which make the old schoolers ten times better because they had to work with shit that was heavier, plus they set the tone for the BMX riders today
What are you talking about. There was only coaster brake back then, no freecoaster where you can switch back and forth. Haro is riding coaster brake which almost everyone did back then. Even in the early to mid 80's people rode good ol' coaster brake, Tony Murray, Maurice Meyer, Ron Wilkerson just to name a few. This is many years before you were born and never seen these guys ride in real life.
guys like bob haro rl osbourne mike buff eddie fiola all the heavy hitters are to be thanked for what you have to witness today such as dave mira ryan nyquist etc
