I feel like the reason there’s so much detail in parts of levels that are never even seen is simply because Steelwool knew we’d be looking around, even in VR. Some levels may not have the same level of detail, or even back walls, but we still need to appreciate what detail IS implemented into the game.
Honestly I wish that the sister location office level had the stuff in their actual positions, it doesn't matter too much in gameplay but it would've been cool
6:50 It might be a scale guide, it used to see the scale of a human in the space usually used for map creation in games when you need to see the scale of an object. The reason its the only one is probably due to them forgetting to remove it
That would be impressive if the pizzaplex was actually modelled, even partly modelled, but it just being a picture isn’t surprising. Saves on resources to make sure the game runs good

I have a trick I learned to move horizontally without anything needed I learned it myself in a different game I think also in unity Lean/move forward in the direction you want to go Use joystick to turn 180 Lean back/move back to where you were Turn 180 Repeat You will slowly move wherever your leaning forward wherever you can use the joystick
I have a feeling the guy in the walls in the secret room isn't the player character. For me it feels like that it was just something to test the proportions of everything in the game. Just judging from the default looking model.

I'm pretty sure the rooms are behind you to avoid them being loaded in the player vision it's just a optimisation thing I think
