If you're planning to become a pilot in Turkey for personal reasons, like obtaining a Private Pilot License (PPL) and an Instrument Rating (IR), without seeking employment as a pilot, you'll still need to complete specific steps. These include enrolling in a flight school approved by the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation, completing the required flight training hours, and passing both theoretical exams and practical flight tests. However, the process might be more straightforward than that for commercial pilots, as your goals are for personal qualification rather than professional employment. It's essential to check with a flight school in Antalya for the most accurate and detailed requirements based on your goals.

So I can’t do all this without a bachelors degree/ university?

No, you do not necessarily need a bachelor's degree to become a pilot in Turkey. You need to complete flight training and obtain the necessary pilot licenses (such as a Private Pilot License (PPL) and a Commercial Pilot License (CPL)) from an accredited flight school.

Thank you for your question! Turkey has several reputable flight schools where you can pursue your dream of becoming a pilot. Here are a few options you can consider:
Turkish Airlines Flight Academy: As one of the most prominent flight schools in Turkey, this academy offers comprehensive pilot training programs. Turkish Airlines Flight Academy is known for its modern facilities and professional instructors, and it has strong ties to Turkish Airlines, which could benefit your future career as a pilot.
AFA - Atlantic Flight Academy: Based in Istanbul, AFA offers both private and commercial pilot training programs. They are well-regarded for their experienced instructors and state-of-the-art equipment.
THK Flight Academy: Located in Ankara, the Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK) runs this academy, which provides pilot training with a focus on high standards and international certification.
AYJET Anatolian Stars Flight Training Organization: AYJET, located near Istanbul, provides training for aspiring commercial pilots and has partnerships with various airlines.
Make sure to contact the schools directly to inquire about admission requirements, course details, and costs. Good luck on your journey to becoming a pilot in Turkey!

Actually, salaries in Turkey can vary widely depending on the industry, location, and level of experience. While 14,200 ₺ per month might be on the higher side for some professions, it is certainly possible in others, especially in specialized fields or senior positions.
