    Have you done a video showing how you plumbed this in? I want to go from a solid pressure pipe out of ghe pump, into thd UVC and then into the sieve, so I need to adapt it to a flexible pipe at some point?

      HI Zeamus634 thanks for watching Sir and no I've never filmed the plumbing on this set-up. If you drop onto www koichronicles.co.uk you'll find all the help and fixings you'll need 👊🙏⛩️🈂️KC

    Thanks for posting this! I'm just about to buy one, however, the pictures showed the outlet/overflow different and I was wondering if the tee could be changed so it's upright?! Judging by your video, you've done exactly what I want to do with it.

    • @KoiChronicles
      @KoiChronicles  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mapantz and thanks for the comment. Yes it's just an hole through the back by default. You get a straight connector with it, however you can purchase your own tank connector and stepped hose tail and your away Sir. 👍

      @@KoiChronicles Sieve arrived. Are the two pipe fittings at 0:05 the ones that came with it? I have tried to set it up like that but the top elbow that connects to the t-piece won't fit in and seal. The main outlet and overflow are slightly too far apart to allow me to use the fittings like that. It will only allow a tight fitting if I have the t-piece horizontal (as per instructions) rather than vertically to drain away like yours, as my drain to my pond goes down, rather than across.

    • @KoiChronicles
      @KoiChronicles  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Mapantz1 Correct, depending on the orientation of the T piece. One way it fits better than the other way. It's still tight and only just fits, but will go. 👍 Good luck

      @@KoiChronicles You're absolutely right! I was in such a rush that I didn't even notice that the tee piece had a longer side than the other. DOH! I changed it around and it fits good now. It's all up and running and it's going to save me a lot of time and effort rather than cleaning sponges every few days. Thank you for your help and for posting the video.😃

    This would be nice for my tight space but can it be converted to gravity feed ?

      Hi and thanks for the comment and for your time viewing. However it's pump fed only I'm afraid buddy 🙏⛩️👍🈂️ KC

    Hi KC its either the cetus sieve or this aqua forte for me. Can it manage 10 000 ltr pump? The hosetail supplied won't fit my flexi pipe at 38mm. Can the inlet be adapted eg put a 1.5inch hosetail in the inlet with a 38mm on it? Its £300 cheaper than a cetus so i'd prefer this but can't find any decent info on it to see if it will suit my set up. Any help would be great 👍

    • @KoiChronicles
      @KoiChronicles  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I think the sieve would run the 10,000 liters pump unrestricted with the 3"outlets. Could always ask Aqua Forte the question? Tell them you've been watching my videos 😂🤣😂🤣 lol The Inlet is flexible and you can easily fit your own connection. Don't panic. The EA cetus sieve is a more superior unit however it's as big as a 🛀 and maybe a tad to big for your water/setup 💦 👍🙏⛩️🈂️KC

      Aqua Forte is apparently rated at 15 m³/h.
      So in English that's a 15,000lph😎🙏⛩️🈂️KC

    How often do you spray the sieve once a day?

    • @KoiChronicles
      @KoiChronicles  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HI Sir and thanks for the question. Depending on seasons Peak/Summer every 2-3-4 days, whatever you fancy. It would run though for longer periods without attention as an overflow is fitted. Winter it will run straight through. Maybe clean every now and then. It's a good little product. Hope this helps. 👌🙏⛩️🈂️KC
