    Physics on Khan Academy: Physics is the study of the basic principles that govern the physical world around us. We'll start by looking at motion itself. Then, we'll learn about forces, momentum, energy, and other concepts in lots of different physical situations. To get the most out of physics, you'll need a solid understanding of algebra and a basic understanding of trigonometry.
    About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

      It’s good that you have something you can rely on at all, but in case TH-cam ever fails you, you might want to have other forms of resources as back up.

    I've never seen someone explain something so easily and in a way that makes total complete logical sense....our teachers just write some equations without explaining what each of the symbols and numbers represent nor what their relationships are to one another...it is a waste of my time and my life...but you just managed to explain math in such an elegant way that I've never seen before, thank you💖 I basically have survived all these years just by watching TH-cam videos...you guys are the best teachers I know, hats off to you💖💐

Depends on your frame of reference

      @rubaiyatmehedi9337 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Lisa Simpson no need to apologise for your English you're pretty good.
      And you definitely should check out the trigonometry playlist from Khan academy. These are pretty basic things and you probably should've had a decent idea about these basics of trig since you're in your first year of physics. It's true that it's never too late to learn something but it might affect your institutional grades mate.
      And good luck😉

This kind of explanation, I was always expecting, when I ask someone to explain me about wave equation but never a satisfied answer i got so far and now i am very much impressed with the content of the video and the way it is explained. I will keep from now on, this as the base explanation, if would want to explain anyone on wave equation. I just want to give infinite like to this video.Thank you soooooooo much.

    I'm a person without math who has for many years struggled to understand QM and especially the Wave Function. I wish I would have started with this video. From this video I now understand much better what a "function" is and does. I knew that sine and cosine had to be involved in the equation, but now I understand how. I would imagine the QM Wave Function is similar but with more than just x and t involved, such as p, and I know that it is "complex." My goal is to understand how the WF predicts the future state of the quantum particle. This video is a huge help, and I have watched many.

    I love this explanation! My textbook and Teacher used this other way of getting the argument for the cos/sine. After establishing the wavelength and its relation to the distance it then used cos[2pi/wavelength(x-vt)], to establish how it shifted over time due to velocity. After that, the velocity was changed into terms of wavelength and period. yada yada. I enjoy your video a lot more though!
