No, BYU robbed themselves of a playoff spot by losing to Kansas. Win and they’re in! Jake’s pic in the end zone on 1st and 7 was the losing play. Unnecessary play call, they should’ve kept running it; and Jake had one of his poorest and preventable bad passes all year. Really really good season otherwise! And no, Jarom, not the most complete team.” 1984 and 1996 were more complete and obviously more successful.
Forever remembered as the season that could have been. You don't have one of your 2 losses be to the worst team. No excuses, you let the fans down with a weak mental mindset and Arod's inexcusable play calling. We should have scored 50+ against Colorado without Arod's stupid trick plays. I think the BYU win over K State was the best win of the season. They dominated a good team in that game...Colorado was an average team that lucked up and avoided 4 of the top 5 teams in the conference.
You can't complain about the playoff committee for not including BYU without also complaining about the Big 12 championship committee. What was the criteria the big 12 use to choose Iowa St. for the championship? That's where BYU was snubbed. You can't complain about the playoff committee if your own conference discredits your schedule and wins.

ASU should have been forced to forfeit the game because of both their Head Coach cussing out the officials & the fan’s interrupting the game for over 20 minutes ON THE FIELD!!! The NCAA rules are clear- no I don’t blame the referees for not throwing the flag because it was a mob and they probably would’ve been killed or seriously injured. But Brent Yormark totally drop the ball. He fined ASU only 25k when he should have forced a forfeit. The end.
