My mother is 88 and has this on her legs and I took her to a specialist and they said theirs nothing they can do because she has congestive heart failure and she has dementia and doesn’t understand she should keep her legs up. I think she will eventually die from it
I'm so scared. I had fusion surgery on L4 L5. S1 on July 9th plus arachnoid cyst also tried to remove most of it. Now I have cellulitis in both legs and ankles. What do I do??? Can this get into my surgery sutures?
Why can't you just paint the entire infected area with iodine? Iodine kills infections fast and also works fantastic on burns. I once got a very bad and deep burn while welding and it hurt so bad. I had read a few years earlier about using iodine on burns to stop infections and scar tissue so I tried it on that burn. Oh my God did that sting but the pain was gone in 5 minutes and stayed that way for 8 plus hours and then I would have to put a few more drops on the burn again. Now I can't find any scaring from that burn at all.

I started a fever of 102.4 so, had my bf take me to hospital. After many tests, (this was October 2020) deep into Covid. The diagnosis was, Cellulitis, started me on Antibiotics via IV. "1" bag, every shift. Then, found a DVT in my upper (l) thigh. It was....Close! Forward to 3/25/2022, my (l) arm much larger than right. Never went back to size my Dr. knows...nothing. Anyone, can you, explain why?
