It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book th-cam.com/users/postUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.
Know this is an older video, but just wanted to say these guys doing these are amazing in how organized and quickly they get them up. Good call on paying the extra. I used to own a steel building bizz for just under 15 years and when they came out and did mine 2 years ago, I could not have done it myself, with wholesale pricing on the metal, and saved more than a $100 over their pricing. Similar size to yours, from the time they backed into driveway to when they pulled out, 59 minutes, 3 guys. Wish these guys had been on my building crews.
I could not agree more. This crew was amazing. I do wish the metal building company survived Covid…shame. Thanks for watching a taking the time to comment!
Four professional men worked for three hours (not including their travelling time) and their employer charged $160! Given that it took that experienced professional team of four men three hours to complete the task, you obviously accepted that outstanding offer! It would be utter madness not to have! Good on you for supplying the crew with food and drinks, and for giving them a monetary Thank You, they'd have really appreciated your kindness. And for your kindness, you've got a new subscriber!
I once contemplated rebuilding a fence around my back yard. I finally decided it would be best to let the fence company do it. These two Hispanic guys showed up early in the morning. I said to myself, ya right, no way could these two guys put my fence up in a day. After watching those guys work I said thank god I opted to have someone else do it. Was amazing to watch those guys work. Hispanics are talented craftsmen. Glad things are going well on the Toadstead!
Nice! Those guys were really moving. I put up a 30X40x12 open span steel building here by myself with friends help never again way to much work add in never did it before what a head ache. Cant wait to see it all done congrats.
4 guys for 3 hours = 12 man hours. 160/12=13.33 per hour. That includes all benefits. Plus they supplied the tools. You got an incredible deal. In my area it's about $800 to install.
@@toadstead1 Hmm I can not understand the price. These workers came from the guy that you bought the premade steel structure. Maybe the price was included in the buy and the installation was actually offered free or at cost (160)!

Kow-A-Bunga, Toad! That was awesome! Yet another great crew to expand upon the work done by the slab layers-and-levelers. I'd say you got some bang for your buck outta this deal. The toadstead is comin along fabulously. (Buen trabajo, muchachos!)
They were great....I know my roofers when I had it done was amazing had them remove three previous roofs and start from scratch, which was a chore in itself, and they did the entire house, I have two story, and garage in under 6 hours....
I like building things and that looks easy to do, BUT definitely not a bad price for having it assembled for you and definitely a lot faster than you would have been able to get it done! Well worth it!

You couldn't tell the difference between them & a regular house. Gosh a mobile home isn't built as well as that thing....LOL
A six man crew arrived to remove a large pine that fell on my rear patio. They cut up the tree, removed all debris, and left a clean work site, all in 40 minutes. The guys worked hard, all Hispanics. That $160 you spent to assemble your structure is a deal!
I bought mine thru a local steel building place (now defunct, sad). The building as seen in the video was just under 2K not counting the dirt work and concrete.
