Thank you for this video, I spent a lot of time editing vocals especially vocalists who have lots of breaths in between sentences
Ayayayaaa Thanks man is't like awakening
Any time
Hi you saved my ass right now! I was editing by hand and it tooks really hours! Thy bro!
You got it! Than you!
Thanks!
Thank you! That’s my first ever super thanks haha! So congratulations for that 💪
I find vids like this useful. Even if I don’t make the type of music you’re using as an example. Thanks for the content.
Glad it was helpful! I usually make metal and rock so it’s something different than what I usually make too haha
@@ProducingInTheBox it’s funny but I was listening to Iron Maiden ‘s last album and was struck by how consistent they are as a band both in songs and production. As an aside I love nickio mcbrains drums . The snare is so open and thick and nobody has toms that full. Anyway keep up the good work.
Works great for editing drums too!
Yes it does!
This is so clear and straight to the point! Thank you Andrew!❤
Thank you, John!
Nice tip! I think I won't struggle anymore! Thank you🙏🙏
Jolly handy! Thanks :)
Thank you for watching!
loving the video and loving the track.
wow .. vocal & vocal effects are awsome...
how to do that? plz make a video on recording vocals with these effects... processing.. etc
only on vocals
Thank you so much for the tips
Thanks for the videos.
Would really love to see S1 implement a strip silence workflow that is similar or better than PT.
I think PT wins the strip silence workflow compared to all the other DAWs.
IMHO the fastest and most efficient so far.
Having said that I still love and use S1 because of other features like drag and drop.probably the best and fastest workflow in any DAW.
Amazing
Thats a good video:)
Thank you so much i finnaly understand this after doing it on my song am working on😂😂😂
Really love your content!! there aren’t many channels that make good content on Studio One, and i think you are the best of them all, you make it very easy to understand!
Thank you! I really appreciate that! Also, you should watch my friends Ivan Calderon and Mike from StudioOneRevealed! They have some great channels too
Love it, Andrew. Goes to show how much there is to discover. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching, Mike!
good stuff! good stuff!! I use a different DAW and make different music than you but still a lot of useful stuff on this channel!!! 💪😎👍
Glad to hear it! What Daw do you use? Most DAWs have a strip silence feature
@@ProducingInTheBox FL Studio. I can use a gate. Same difference lol
@@xMaSSxHyST3RiA FL Studio is great haha.
When they finally finalize this feature so that it is as visually understandable as in PT and Reaper...
Many thanks Andrew!
Unfortunately, I have a proplem with the stip silence tool, I tried diffrent setup, but "apply" is not active. i don't know what is the proplem😢 Would you advise if you know what may be the problem. It was active before but now I dont know what is happened, I refresh my computer, and close & open studio one but still the same problem😢
Off topic... what interface would you recommend? I want something pro sounding...
The Audient interfaces are killer. Like. Seriously. I love them. That’s what I prefer. If you have a bigger budget, apogee and Apollo make great ones too. But the Audient is always my first recommendation
Or just use a gate....
You can! I find you get a bit more control this way tho. You can bring back breaths or cut them more aggressively. I’ve used both techniques before. I prefer stripping silence
is there any trick to level out in volume these several parts of audio? I mean automaticly an average Loudness?
You can “normalize” all the tracks! Then throw a compressor on it! You can even grab “vocal rider” from Waves. Super fast workflow
@@ProducingInTheBox normalizeing does not pull the guiet parts up and push the loud ones down. Am I right?
@@Six2Nine you’re right! Normalizing brings all the peaks up to 0db. Compression controls the quiet and loud parts
Strip silence is not cutting out the silence nor adding fades. it looks exactly the same.
