Training Tip Tuesday! Yielding the forequarters on the ground.
Ever wonder how to teach your horse to move his shoulders away from you on the ground?
I had this question posed to me by a dear friend recently trying to learn about halter class showing.
This morning, I then received a new horse for training, Tater, and decided to show you how I begin that process. It doesn't take more than a session or two to get your horse quite good at this, but you have to know what you're doing.
Remember, with the correct FEEL and TIMING, you can make miracles happen for your horse and your relationship with him or her.
