Make those memories because it'll be then when you can't travel anymore you sit in a permanent place town you really like okay it's like whatever you can always look back on those memories on your computer and look back of all those pictures and memories of your mom and everybody all the places you travel

What a nice surprise to get the alert thinking it's "Wingin' It" Wednesday, but getting a full travel vlog episode is even better! 👍🏼 Wall Drug was unique, but I vote for a Buc'ees coast to coast, at least one in every state! The Badlands look even more amazing from the hiking trails (we've just drove thru and stopped at the VC). And this is for everyone watching: 10 days from today, Saturday, September 28th is National Public Lands Day with FREE entry into all National Parks! Thanks for the video and safe travels y'all!
Actually, SD law only requires "trucks" to stop at weigh stations. It does get a little confusing since it doesn't specify commercial trucks so a 1 ton or higher dully hauling a 18 K fifth wheel may be required to stop. I have heard of people pulling into weigh stations being asked why they pulled in. Many states will have signs saying commercial vehicles.
I got a little confused how you went from Custer State Park to Iowa to the Badlands. Haha. Then I saw in your description that you are catching up on your travel videos. 👍🏻 No worries. I’m enjoying the journey.

RV Texas Y'all The Buffalo Roundup was great, a worthwhile event! Every year on the last Friday of September. If you ever get the opportunity, you should try to attend. It is on the Wildlife Loop in Custer State Park, SD... Safe Travels!
Great, great video! Thanks for sharing that beautiful scenery. Grammy Kay cracked me up there in Wall Drugs. Is a stand up comic gig in her future? Wall Drugs just seems to grow bigger all the time. It sure isn’t anything like it was in the 60’s. Did you guys get your free ice water? Really want to revisit that area soon. Hope you’re not getting drenched down in the Houston area. Fantastic vid ya'll, really loved the inside your RV segment, it gives me a perspective on what it's like tooling down the road looking out that fabulous huge window, the Grammy K scene was classic.
Thanks for sharing, such natural beauty. Were making the trip next year to see all SD has to offer as were thinking of relocating there. How did you find the locals that you met? Seems so open and sparse which is exactly what we love.
I see fuel is cheaper in SD than Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois and Indiana. We just traveled in our DP from Northern California to Middlebury Indiana and found diesel to average around $2.97. It is a lot more in California and Nevada :(
Great video. We did the SAME trip 2019 late summer. When you stopped in Mitchell SD you should have toured the Corn Palace in downtown Mitchell ( free attraction) Unique

National Park stamps are fun to collect. Some National Parks have more than one stamp depending on which area or entrance you go to. There is a list of NP stamps available and where in each park they are available. Have fun!

We were there last September on our way to the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park. No other words... awesome!
