Thanks for the video I have the 2022 48” z530m and just went through this. Additionally attempted to grease the deck. I was unable to the the grease coupling on the center spindle. Any suggestions on fittings or couplings to make this doable?
@@eshott2935 I use a 90 degree adapter that snaps onto the straight grease gun coupler, They are available at most farm supply stores or Napa Auto Parts stores.
@@247parts Well, my family parks on the side of the road and when it snows heavy we kept getting plowed in by the city. I figured getting a lawn tractor and a snow blade since the zero turns do not currently have any snow blade attachment.
I had this issue after sharpening the blades, and it turns out they were just barely out of balance. Grinding off some metal on the back of the blades to get them perfectly balanced eliminated that awful grinding noise.
That engine takes 2 quarts AND 1 CUP of oil. It states it in Z540M owners manual. Also there is a black foamy piece that goes over the air filter. Both 2016 and 2018 Z530M of mine had. I always take the black foamy piece off after each mowing as it collects a lot of debris and rinse with clean water then hang to dry before reinstalling.

That dip stick isn't slowing down the oil drainage. The oil filter does though. Nice video.

It is recommended for every 100 hours.

No, it i snot but they are very easy to find. Most dealerships will have them or your local auto parts stores.
The new fuel filter you installed from the kit has a lot less filter media than the one you replaced.
I need to break both of these filters open and do a comparison of the filter media. Thanks for watching!

I believe there are striping kits available but I will have to look into it.

The book for my Z530R (I have a 2021 and 2022 model) shows 2 quarts and 6 ounces of oil.
@@p71collector I had to correct the sales man that sold me my Z540M that it took more than 2 quarts of oil.
