Very good words of warning sir . The fleet I manage has had three transmission failures on this generation of Transits and looking forward to more in the future. According to the transmission shop we use those bolts (long A-arm bolts) seem to be the only grounds and that is causing electrolysis and corrosion there. They have added several ground straps on vehicle and a ton of anti-seeze on bolts to hopefully mitigate this issue. Thanks&CHEERS!!!

yes it has gasket ,and filter , the service port to fill fluid is in side of the transmission it takes around 8 qts mercon lv fluid, u will need ast pump to fill transmission
I got the same code took it to Koons dealership ford in Woodbridge,they told me my transmission is gone and replacement will cost me $11000 for my 2016 ford transit 150

Was this issue giving u an intermittent sputter or an intermittent reading from the o output shaft speed sensor reading on the scanner?
No there was code and shift was hard as sensor could not send right output
