    The impending election showdown between Harris and Trump is sure to make a significant impact. It's astonishing how it might influence our finances; nevertheless, the unpredictable polls highlight the importance of everyone casting their vote.

      During this crucial phase, it's vital to connect with a skilled financial advisor. My advisor, Desiree Ruth Hoffman, has been an invaluable mentor. So he's going to force US companies to shut down cheaper overseas production and instead manufacture their products at home at higher cost, sending prices through the roof. His simple-minded plan to maintain domestic demand for those expensive, US-made products is to raise the prices of imported goods even higher with tariffs ... so the US consumer will be screwed every which way, and the workers in these US factories will constantly be at war with their employer, who'll be trying to reduce costs by paying them less or squeezing more work out of them and firing everyone they can get away with, so product quality will almost certainly fall. Meanwhile exports of US products will nosedive because they're so much more expensive and so much crappier than competing foreign products built at lower cost. Super genius.

    Comrade Trump signed the USMCA in 2020 which gave companies the incentive to move jobs to Mexico and Canada through the benefits of lower import tariffs. He clearly forgot this or just signed the USMCA without understanding it. Of course he'd need to break this agreement to raise tariffs, which will have severe criminal, civil and administrative penalties for the US. In other words, this idiot is going to do to manufacturing, the same thing he did to farmers with his trade war with China in 2019, such as increasing bankruptcies by a quarter in a single year.

    • @mboiko
      @mboiko หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You seem a bit confused, maybe I can help as your statement is not entirely accurate and contains many misconceptions... so let's go over each step by step.
      So let's break down the key points:
      USMCA Implementation
      The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) was indeed signed during the Trump administration and entered into force on July 1, 2020. However, it's incorrect to say that it gave companies incentives to move jobs to Mexico and Canada through lower import tariffs.
      Key Aspects of USMCA
      The USMCA was designed to create a more balanced trade environment in North America:
      It aimed to level the playing field for American workers by improving rules of origin for automobiles and other products.
      The agreement included new protections for U.S. intellectual property and ensured opportunities for trade in U.S. services.
      It introduced new chapters on digital trade, anticorruption, and regulatory practices, with a focus on benefiting small and medium-sized enterprises.
      Tariffs and Job Movement
      Contrary to the statement, the USMCA actually included provisions to discourage job relocation:
      It increased the North American content requirement for duty-free treatment of vehicles from 62.5% under NAFTA to 75% under USMCA.
      The agreement included a requirement that 40-45% of auto content be made by workers earning at least $16 per hour, which was intended to reduce the wage disparity between the U.S. and Mexico.
      Trump's Understanding and Future Plans
      There's no evidence to suggest that Trump "forgot" about the USMCA or signed it without understanding it. In fact, renegotiating NAFTA was a key campaign promise that Trump fulfilled.
      Raising Tariffs and Breaking Agreements
      The statement is correct in implying that unilaterally raising tariffs would likely violate the USMCA. Any such action would indeed have potential legal and economic consequences. However, it's worth noting that during his presidency, Trump did use tariffs as a negotiating tool, including imposing tariffs on steel and aluminum from Canada and Mexico, which were later lifted.
      In conclusion, while the USMCA did change trade dynamics in North America, it was not designed to incentivize job relocation to Mexico and Canada. The agreement actually included provisions aimed at protecting U.S. jobs and interests.

    • @mboiko
      @mboiko หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PythonesqueSpam The economy in the US has been a mess over the last few years for consumers and in this case farmers. Domestic sales of John Deere products have been severely affected. So demand declines and Deere announces a layoff of 800 workers in Illinois and Iowa factories. Meanwhile, Deere buys land in Ramos Mexico to build a new plant to take over the work that's done in Iowa.
      Now I'm no Republican, but you don't have to like Trump to know what John Deere is up to. Trump was 100% correct when he said...(USMCA or not) “They think they are going to make products cheaper in Mexico and then sell them for the same prices they did before,” he said Monday of John Deere, “making a lot of money by getting rid of our labor and our jobs.”
      Would this move help John Deere, no doubt it would...but would this help the American Worker, most likely not...because the "problem" is the WHOLE Economy including the Agricultural sector. If elected Trump has MUCH fixing to do, can he do it I don't know. But as an American consumer/worker, we can't take 4 more years of what has been a total Economic Dumpster Fire...

So, if it has a plug, model and serial number has to be on the inventory (so that typical due of manufacturer can be identified, two years old no payment) Why is this apart of this story. You move to mexico, you have all you "used" belongings shipped there. If you don't pay those taxes, duties and tariffs, your stuff can be destroyed at port. Yes, other people are very aggressive.
