That’s why prefire maps are so important. Best aim trainer for cs. It’s not an arena shooter, don’t need tracking or any vertical aim…just horizontal and map understanding/counter strafe
You need tracking for trigger discipline situations, and vertical aim... de-nuke

This is exactly the video i was looking for. i am new to CS so i am bingewatching information videos and i have gotten so far right now that i understand my role in solo q which is anchoring A for the most part, i really enjoy that role because i can clutch which feels really good or if i get rushed i hope to get 1 kill and i get all the information about where people are so my team can come in prepared. i am just silver right now and one of my weaknesses for sure are peeking and winning duels. and from this video alone i can clearly tell that i 100% peak without a plan and the person aiming at me probably does have a plan and that is why i lose.

4:43 is huge. I've had lots of deaths when trying to take space, and W keying into someone's peek. Crouching forward on an angle is something I never really thought to do.
I just got to level 7 on faceit and I think that was largely due to you and refrag's bootcamp. TY so much and happy holidays!!!
when i used to play alot i would usually play 8-12 hrs a day even just normal mm, and everytime for the third day or so i would literally know where everyone was like i was in the matrix. Even though i played like shit it was always like the third day or so. I guess it was the accumulation of playing.

3:29 this is interesting you can somewhat replicate pros exact movements and crosshair placement. I do this with rocket league I dont know why I've never considered it for this game

I think switching on your brain for a peek is kind of like when you drive through a suburb/low speed zone and there's streets coming in from your right. Sure, everyone slows down for the crossroads, but how many people are actually ready to stop on the spot when they see someone come out of a side street? It's that kind of active preparation.

I'm not elige lol but imo the lekkers aren't great. The gateron jade's are way better, There smoother and have a 30g initial force and lubed 10x better then any lekker but get whatever you like just make sure the switches say 'HE'

I have the plastic cuz its lighter for travel. I use the L45 ones too but im not picky and i use whichever GMK keycaps im feeling. Rn i have an olivia clone on there i think

Hi EliGE, how do I decide when to use crouch peek or just counter strafe peek?
I have a whole guide on refrag academy that you can check there if you are subbed, but TLDR is that it depends on a lot. Crouching is good for angles that can have many possibilities. So if someone likes a lot of off angles it is good. You also need right eye advantage.
Counter strafe peeks are good right and left eye, advantage and disadvantaged angles but if you guess wrong on a strafe and hes in another angle or off angle you will lose the fight

I can't understand how to peek silently. I can't peek on shift because it's too slow and I'll be killed and I can't peek without shift, because then enemy will hear steps. So what to do?
You should shift until you're at a angle where players are commonly at - that's when I would say to tap A, or D depending on which side you're clearing/peeking

the cool thing about ropz crouch peeking the balcony angle. the ct has to crouch in order to get a headshot angle on that pixel. if the ct is standing he has to shoot body. pretty cool from mr. ropz
CS2 is more difficult than csgo cause spray dont connect.. so you have to perfect peek one by one❤
this time I didn’t really see any flaws out of ropz…

One thing I notice with pro players is they have the smallest crosshairs and some of them are barely visible…is this like a aim small miss small thing??
most crosshairs look different depending on the res, it could look smaller bigger or thinner thicker.

Good knowledge, but nothing new for me as I play since early 1.6. Just mechanics is not the same when you are 32 yo.
