Love what you said. I love our tree because every ornament has a story for our family as well . They mean so much to me. I have ornaments my Grandma made who is no longer with us. I started a tradition when my kids were very small every year they picked their own ornament to paint and every year they paint a new one and just through the years you can see how they have grown. Their first few they did are pretty much all brown because toddlers love to mix colors then they turn to mud lol, but I love everyone of them and I hope they do the same with their own children. They can show their own kids what theirs looked like as they grew. Love your project here and watching your diys. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season.

Your tree is beautiful. Looks like ours. Mine is not designer either. All of our ornaments are special to us. First Christmas, ornaments the kids made, ones that I won in family Christmas games, themed ornaments that we picked up in our short travels, like seashells, or birds, or ornaments that were gifted to us....you get the idea. Great DIY.
We do the ornaments too 😃 and we watch our favorite Christmas movies together ❤️

On my tree, I have ornaments that are 70 years old, many from around the world or made by my children every year. I have gathered them over my lifetime, my parents and even grandparents lifetimes. My tree is a generational legacy to tell a story that will go on long after my life passes. I'm writing a memory book on it, while I can still remember 😆 Merry Christmas, Hugs Kate

Beautiful and you're right Christmas is about the birth of Christ our Savior not about how fancy our decorations are and how many presents are under the tree. Our best gift God made available to us all many years ago and we just have to humbly and gratefully accept him. Lovely. So many options as well to put design in the back of the glass as well. Have a wonderful Christmas. Love your tree! A tradition: We save our loose change and play Bingo Christmas eve and give away the coins in little bags when someone yells bingo!!!

Yes we do have fun. Some years there is not much to win, other years there is lots of $. I have to roll the coins and get bills at the bank. Some years we all pitch in and add little gifts wrapped and we get to choose which one we want. Some years when one person wins most of the Bingo games, they would put all their winnings into the pot and we would do one final Bingo. Our kids got to choose what the combination of the Bingo would take, all around the edge, X, or +, lines. Of course it goes with hot chocolate and popcorn too. Another tradition: We always have breakfast before the opening of the socks. We explained that the suspense is slightly prolonged. For Mom and Dad it meant we wouldn't have ill kids from them being hungry and eating the all the chocolate and goodies in their socks first. Win, Win. Our two are 37 and 34 and we still do this! Love your channel!
