I did not want to do the wrong thing, so I contacted them. They made me do a few things on my computer. When these did not work, they told me that they were going to search for a recommended agent to do the repairs. Then I said, Hey by the way, I usually use the legacy support thing. And the reaction was, Why didn't you say that? Then they completely left out the repairs and proceeded with further steps to fix the additional problem I had. So I can confirm that what you are saying is so true!!! I am definitely done with HP after this computer. But the problem is, all the companies are the same!

I took my pc to a professional guy and he told me that the damage was in windows cuz somehow my pc uninstalled it so he installed it and everything is good the guy told that the damage could hit the hard disk but it wasnt ...so that good ...... SOLUTION... for people who dont have legacy options... So first shut down your pc or laptop. Shart your pc by pressing ( esc or f10 ) simultaneously.. Once you are at pre BIOS page you will get an option to press f9 which is Boot options menu.... select that... Then press enter on the OS Boot Manager ( UEFI ).... and your done .. let the system do evrything by itself dont do anything...

This actually worked even if I have the latest version. The legacy support in my laptop was already enabled but I did as if it was disabled and it turned on again :) Thank you!!
For me, after I type in the 4 digit code, it brings me to a black screen that says "boot device not found. Press any key once added" and when I press a random key, it keeps spamming the same message. Please help!!
If this method is unsuccessful, another possibility is that your hard drive is having a problem, try checking if the hard drive is detected, another way if your hard drive is detected try to install Windows again
@@DaryStabbo looks like your hard drive is not detected ... try to disassemble the hard drive, clean the connection pin, then plug it back in, and test .. if it doesn't work replace the hard drive
Girl, hell no! I folded that mf up & put it in the back of my closet. 😫 I may just make an HP help center claim & take it in locally. I ain’t tryna buy a new laptop right now. 🙄 So annoyed.

SOLUTION... for people who dont have legacy options...
