If you're having trouble executing the 223 into the back 3, try pressing back and three and the same exact time right before batmans foot lands at the end of the 223.

nazmi ghani only one you need really good timing is the 223 into back 3, in fact the timing is so difficult that it's pointless in game, can do a little bit less damage but guaranteed combo with 223 jump2, 123, back23
CPTZK11 223 into f3, J2, b23 is also much more constant than 223 into b3 link.
Yeah even most pros will avoid doing the 223 into b3. Usually, they do 223, f3 then j3/j2, b23.
If you're still having difficulty connecting 223 with f3 then just go 223, j2 and b23. That's one of his most basic combos that still does decent damage

I don't think you will reply but I just wanted to thank you for these videos. You actually helped me enjoy this game a lot when injustice 1 was out. I was new to fighting games, sorta, and ready to throw in the towel until I watched one of your bnb combo vids for bane. I was just as bad as when I started out tbh lol. But I'm having fun since the occasional combo looks flashy when I pull it off. Even when I lose, constantly, I still enjoy it just because I pulled off some cool combos.
It's funny how it feels. I used to feel awesome just winning by mashing buttons but it looked boring. No combos, no chains, nothing went together, ironically I won more matches but that's beside the point...this is getting circle jerky.

Tldr, thanks for these vids. I do have one question if you could indulge me a bit.
How do you keep up with the speed of these combos? I end up panicking half the time in a real fight and resort back to my mashing. You have to input the next string right as the current string is going, right?
I'm currently trying swamp thing, seems like one of the tougher ones to master. I learned a heck of a combo that will do around 400+ dmg plus heals me, plus a dot for the enemy.
The combo is this.... B232, mbBF3, F23, DB3, D2, DF2.
I can get the first three but it seems like when i get back to DB3 it activates far too late. Am I doing something wrong?
Ryūjin Jakka You're saying you're doing DB3 too late? Maybe you're waiting for the animation too much. Sometimes you gotta put in the button inputs before the animations makes it seem that way. Or else you'll drop the combo. Hope that makes sense.
James Kibrick well crap. Thanks bro lol. Kinda sucks that you have to smash the buttons before you even get to see the character complete his move. It's a bad habit of mine, currently in this game. I keep thinking I have to wait for the character to get done performing the combo and then continue.
Just gotta retrain my brain I suppose.

Do 223, F3... 223 into B3 is seriously unreliable. Try doing F3 instead right when both of Batmans feet hit the ground after 223.
If you watch pro players play batman like foreverking or madzin 223, b3 is never really used cause its unreliable but 223, f3 is an equally good combo starter
The secret is to execute 223 really fast so you have time for B3.

Yeah same! It'll happen like 1/5 times for me even at my fastest mashing, its annoying cause the things you could follow up with B3 are great! :(

The one where you have to use the bats after the combo then grapple is so fucking hard I've been trying for almost an hour and it's so hard to time the bats just right

I'm really starting to lose my shit because I can't time 123 after J2 correctly.
LeoBrickFilms I had the same issue initially but I got it down. It doesn't help that different characters have different hit boxes either
LeoBrickFilms try practicing on a female and the it should be easier on medium/large characters
yea the second hit on the 123 is tricky. What I do is after J2 I wait until they're close to land, near Batman's crotch height and then start the 123. It's tricky timing cause ur waiting for about 0.5 of a sec before doing 123
These combos are good for beginners and first time fighting game players. Connecting B23 with 123 is hard for me?? Does anyone know the trick to do it??

it would be nice to see the story mode walkthrough from your stream, so that we can see your struggle. who knows, it might help the newbies who are just overwhelmed at all the things you have to learn. seeing a guy who doesn't know combos at first and then manage to do all these kinds of combos would diffinitely help...right?

Say what you want about SFV's art style, but the grimdark theme of Injustice makes it kinda hard to see some characters on certain stages.

Its MangoTime Use analog stick. If you are then its just a matter of getting used to it, muscle memory.
Except Dpad is a lot better for jumping.

SAK Alofa D-Pad is loads better for pressing the directional buttons for moves but use the analog stick to actually more the character and duck and block and stuff.
I perform the combo around 1:55 but get lower than 429 damage. Any reason as to why?
Depends who you are fighting. The same combo won't do the same damage to all the characters as each individual has different stats.

Go Freaky When you do your 223 move up a bit then do b23. Do only why that you're doing kryptonite punch is that you're not landing your b2, or doing 3 fast enough

jayjaysuave75 what you have to do is put in the next move tight after the one before even though the animation isnt finished so the combo strings together. this id called a cancel. it basically means you have to keep doing the combo without stopping
NadavG thanks, also. A different input would sometimes come out when I'm clearly pressing something else. Why is that? For example in a combo I'm working on the last inputs are: up 2, 22, down back 1. The very last input comes out as a down back 2, this is for Batman btw.
jayjaysuave75 ya im pretty sure this happens to everyone. Im pretty sure its caused by the input lag of the controller. since u were pressing 2 right before, u r probably pressing the combo fast enough to where the controller still reads your next input as 2. i know there is something in the setting that is meant to stop this, the only problem with this is it makes it so that you have to input all diagnols in succession through the combo. in simpler terms, it makes the combos slightly harder, so the game knows exactly what u are trying to do. for example, if you have to do bf2, instead of just pressing b, f, and 2 to preform the combo, u have to now put in b, diagnol between b and d, d, diagnol between d and f, f, and 2. Basically its just a hassle. Maybe try timing the combo so that you are inputing that part in a little later, or maybe try this out. sorry i dont remember the name of the setting

DARK CLAW XX means cancel, like finishing a combo into a special move, or a super move.

I think Kirby C is justified in saying that honestly as a fan of fighting games. Injustice a laggy mess with too much DLC it was crazy to pay for it all seperately before the ultimate edition came out but it was too late for most. MKX completely broken on PC and the ports were cancelled. Took about 2 years to fix on PC but way too late for anyone by then that is why I'm sure they didn't release this on PC because of the massive backlash and audience they lost because of it and WB can't port games to PC at all if you recall Batman AK...Then finally Injustice 2 pre-order locked character, $40 for 9 characters you have to buy and can't unlock like in SF5 or is given to you if they are returning characters like Tekken 7, microtransactions for crystals and loot boxes for gear worth $12 - $50 (basically COD and Overwatch prices), and not that great of a story like Injustice 1. I can understand the dislike.
And that was the story of how Kirby C got "rekt." The end!
these are literally the same combos from the first game. Barely any deviation at all.
it's a legacy game, so returning characters will have the same moves from the the predecessor
