All debts are community debts, this includes back child support incurred while you’re married. Whatever he owed before they were married won’t count. She signed up for this when she said, “I do” to this low life.
Don’t defend ignorant people with more ignorance. Even if she wasn’t legally on the hook, morally she is also a deadbeat waste with low principles and high desperation.

To put it into perspective how far behind he is - $44k divided by $410/mth is 109 months. This deadbeat is 9 *YEARS* behind in support!
If we do the math he's got kids with the new woman of 11, 7 and 1. My guess is the defendants' new significant other is a big part of having him stopping those support payments - if it comes to putting food on their table or paying support you can bet your last dollar she wants that food on their table. Would explain why defendants new partner is looking so uncomfortable sitting there.
