Seoul Night Walk on Myeongdong Street After Heavy Rain | Walking Tour Korea 4K HDR

- Hey everyone, it's Nathan! Welcome to my latest walking tour video. This time, I took a 6.8-kilometer walk through some of the most vibrant areas in Seoul after a heavy summer rainstorm. The humidity was high, making the walk quite challenging, but the sights were worth it.
We start our journey in the bustling streets of Euljiro, known for its eclectic mix of old and new, from traditional shops to modern cafes. Next, we walk through Myeongdong, a popular shopping and entertainment district, which feels refreshing and serene after the rain. Due to the heavy rain, access to Cheonggyecheon was restricted, so we continued our journey nearby. Our walk takes us past Deoksugung, where we didn't enter the palace but instead walked along the Deoksugung Stone Wall Road. This road is particularly peaceful at night, offering a tranquil escape from the city's bustle. Finally, we loop back to our starting point in Euljiro, completing a full circle.

@@vicmorales5684 I like korea better than Japan, it is because of people. Korean people are more open minded. Japanese people generally hide feeling. It is hard to become real friend with Japanese even for me. But Koreans are open and say what they feel. Also, everything in Korea is more developed, including tech and services. I like living in Korea better.

Japan is better because South Korea has become influenced by the United States, which has spoiled their custom in dress and other things.

It's crazy to see one of the biggest cities in the world with so many peaceful, quiet streets where a person can walk without being crushed by car exhaust and noise.

Hello Nathan. It’s been a while since I was able to watch one of your walks so this walk in particular is just what I needed to see. I saw the rains of yesterday morning and the flooding so I am amazed at how dry it now looks. Yes there are a few puddles and damp places but how amazing that it has dried up so quickly. I lovely informative walk as ever capturing the sights . Thank you and hopefully keep dry in the days to come. 😊💕

We call it "buscheol" when buses continuously fill up a lane. It's a compound word of bus and subway. It's good to have many buses, but sometimes it's annoying to see.
