Great video! Appreciate your energy and thoughtful reflections. I have many of the items you showed as options to put in the bag as a reference. Very helpful!
Your video is one of those that convinced me to get this lumbar pack a year ago. I have no regrets for making that purchase. If you ask me, this is better than the 2020 model.
Waist belt and the shoulder strap at the same time. You can never be too safe! That’s why I wear a belt with suspenders

Right on! Thanks!

I got the 2020 model of the day lumber pack and I must agree
Was that orange bottle a 40 ounce hydroflask INSULATED DOUBLE WALL stainless steel bottle? Can this hold two of those?
Yes it can
❤
Really should invest in the Mountainsmith suspension system. The lumbar pack ride is more comfortable. Where did you pick up the Kukri?
Ever since I got the new Day pack I have been thinking it I should get it. The kukri was from Himalayan Imports that I scored on EBay.
@@pathrst Thanks for the reply. I lived in Nepal for several years and have several different models of the Kukri. Great knives.
7:15 Where did you get the case for the Rite in the Rain notebook ?
Iblame Summers that came in a great subscription box but I think was from rite in the rain.
Which year's model is this?
@@ullischnuhr8078 must be a 2016-2018 when I bought it. It is the previous model to the one they have now.
@@pathrst Thank you! It looks perfect. Sadly it seems impossible for me to find lumbar pack at all here in Germany - let alone previous models... 🙄
Next Gen references on the arms?!
1holyblack you got it!
@@pathrst that was one of the best episodes!
You hike in fucking sandals? Wow! Good looking pack though.
Those sandals are amazing. I have a review of those sandals too. It's all about building your feet up.
@@pathrst Lunas or bedrocks? :) ... Sandals are the only way to trek!!
James Bacon never used Luna's. But I love the bedrocks. I hear great things about the lunas
