Loved playtesting the games from this one. It was harder to coordinate and have a partner to play with, but it was usually a lot of fun messing around in the game with a second/third person. 😅 (Adds an element of chaos. lol)
I am the artist of Avast! and I'm beyond happy that our game was able to make it to the top 5. Thank you to GDevelop and the Community for playing our game and congrats to everyone else that participated in the jam, I am confident you all are wizards with how insanely polished these entries are lol.
Despite the bugs that I couldn't fix, I'm glad that players liked "Breakdown Blitz"💛 Thank you for the opportunity to participate, it was very fun making the game and playing other people's games, they are incredible.
We host 2 BIG game jams a year, on opposite sides of the year, and host/sponsor smaller jams throughout the year. So keep an ear out, we'll post videos/community posts about them at least a month before they start. 👍 -Wesley
hello, nice content ! with gdevelop, is it possible to do a game with biggest multiplayer than we can see in the video ? like 100 players on a server ?
You can if you create/use a different multiplayer solution, but the built-in multiplayer lobbies in GDevelop have a maximum player limit of 8 per lobby. -Wesley
My game was almost like the #2 winner My game had 1 breaker and 1 fixer Have you tried the game? Whr should be better if yes? It's name is:- fixer breaker multiplayer
All jokes aside i think it would be pretty cool to see your game atleast mentioned in the winners video for the next jam(we all know they are going to make a big game jam #7. Gdevelop is probably gonna build some hype up for that and then disappoint like last time by making it a big game jam.)
i've played the #2 winner game and it does not work, when you destroy stuff it does not appear in the second person's screen my game had so much more than that game but i didn't even get 10th unfair rating system i got only 5 votes that's why i didn't won, my game is not reached to people >:(
The community voting in this latest jam was public, meaning anyone in the public could play and rate the game. Everyone had the opportunity to promote their game on social media, or any other gaming site, to attract more players to their game. It was done this way solely because it was a multiplayer jam, and getting enough people to play a multiplayer game is difficult, and future jams will go back to the old way of voting. If you're looking for more people to play your game, we have a video on how to get your first 10 thousand players, which I personally think is really helpful. -Wesley
@@DefenDefault5 I agree. The public voting used in this jam was just to get more people in the lobbies, so people would be able to properly play the games. 👍 It will go back to the normal voting system for the next jam. -Wesley
Job application 😅 Hello team g develop i would like to do a show on this channel called GD talks ( a interview program) I will do the interview edit etc..... I really like to work for your organization 😃 Please consider my suggestion 🥺 (Not joking 🤐)

I love to discover how much we can do with gdevelop! Those multiplayer games were amazing!
Yo it was really great participating in the jam! Came 11th this time! Just short of being actually talked about in the video lol

Why don't you tell us your favorite game from the jam?
@@tasinkhan1082 My top 3 favorite games are all in the top 5 judges' picks. 😉
Consider engine's limitations, the 3D game was quite impressive

I started the day before the deadline then gave up. I was basically building a non pixel art version of breakdown blitz.
Congrats to everyone who managed to submit and BIG congrats to all the winners!
I just want to know if there will be a full fletched 3d engine in gdevelop or not
Wondering if i can have that discord role later when i make an account because i don't have one

@GDevelopApp what was the old way of voting?
@@DefenDefault5 The normal way community voting works is that only people who submitted a game(And their team mates) can rate games.
-Wesley
@@GDevelopApp that might be better, because then some people will not get huge amount of votes while some might barely get some
