You mentioned at the start that you would not speak fast. Thank you! I can almost keep up with you throughout the video. But that's perfect because it makes me want to study more.
@@spanishgitana oh my goodness! This may be crazy but I was checking an episode of this on TH-cam and the grandmother from La Nieta Elegida was in it, Melissa de Santos (Consuelo Luzardo), and there is a show I watch for Spanish listening, Perro Amor, and Ruth Uribe (Ana Lucía Domínguez) was also in the scene. Wow!!
You mentioned being from the south. Do you actually have what is considered a southern accent? I only hear a neutral (beautiful) spanish accent. But im also still learning ... 😅
Not that I was going to read the book, but thanks for the warning. I've been watching your podcasts for a while now, and I need to mention that I pretty much never watch this kind of podcast - I lean towards factual videos, never the "social" kind. Why do I watch your podcasts? Your delivery, your little comments in english, your obviously quirky nature, your slightly off-beat attitude all appeals to me. After this video, as with all the others I have watched, I arrive at the end knowing that I will be watching more of your content. As for a book to read? Always very difficult to suggest books especially when you don't know the person well, but how about trying this one - it is a bit wacky, and probably not like anything you have read before, but I thought it was quite original and enjoyable. El caso Jane Eyre, Jasper Fforde (translated from english, I read it in spanish and enjoyed the translation) by the way I read the epub, easily obtained. I hope you have a tablet or something.
