Pheasants are birds of several genera within the subfamily Phasianinae, of the family Phasianidae in the order Galliformes.
Though they can be found world over in introduced populations, the pheasant genera native range is restricted to Asia.
They are characterised by strong sexual dimorphism, males being highly decorated with bright colors and adornments such as wattles.
With over 35 species of pheasant belonging to 11 genera, here are the 10 most beautiful / amazing / gorgeous / pretty / wonderful pheasants in the world.

When I was very young my uncle had a pheasant in our basement. He was rehabilitating him. There was also a pheasant 'infestation" in a nearby town. The pheasants escaped a farm.

Monals and peacock pheasants are not pheasants, monals belong to the subfamily Lophophorinae whilst peacock pheasants are in the subfamily Pavoninae, while the former actually belongs to the family Phasianidae, the latter does not, Pavoninae actually belongs to the family Gallidae.

Can someone explain why human the female is hot and beautiful but in chicken the male is beautiful colorful and the hen is just plain old with no color
One of the reasons is, especially in ground nesting species, the female incubates the eggs. Nondescript coloring makes them harder for predators to see.
becuase the male needs to look flashy in order to attract a female in order to mate, but in our world, its the girls that got hte boys beggin.
