I have the complete opposite take. It feels like a 3-4 minute song to me, and the ability to make a 10-11 minute song feel like it passes that quick is something special. There's a couple of bits I wasn't massive on, but I think this might be their best offering so far. Unbeleviably excited for the future with them.
Great review, I agree with everything you said here. I was really hoping for those first two verses to explode into a glorious chorus, but it's kind of frustrating that instead they just stop abruptly and follow into a soft orchestral section, twice, which feels like a turn off coming from such an energetic and powerful moment. Like, it builds up like hell and then leaves you wanting. I think that also contributes to the choppy structure feeling you describe. Other than all that stuff, I really dig the vibes and melodies here. Feels fresh man.
I really really enjoyed this song. The Fires Ignite is still probably my favorite, but this comes very close. Having said that, I do agree that the song was probably a tiny tiny bit too long, and that some of the quieter parts kill the momentum slightly. Only minor issues as far as I'm concerned, and I'm beyond excited about the album! 🤘🤘
I love that song and think it passes very quick. Only the solo maybe could have been a little shorter. The bridge at min 6 is soo beautiful. The production could be a bit better. Have you seen of the band Vulpecula the EP teaser? The production is absolut fantastic. It would be great if they could send there album to that mix and masterer. Anyways, the songwriting is great imo. Noah Simmons is one of the most promising upcoming singers in the scene!
It's good but imo, the song isn't really going anywhere! Too much going on. I know PMR will agree. Also agree what morgoloth said..The song was building up to blow your speakers and then...Song is also way too long.
Thank you for the review ranger! Always appreciate your feedback brother🙏🤘
I always look forward to new releases from y'all!!!

Yea, I did. It's a total bummer that Vulpecula disbanded.
