  • A highlight of a few Black-owned restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. I asked them about how the scene can grow and their predictions for it a decade from now.
    Restaurants:
    7th and Grove
    Cask
    Grant’s Seafood and Grille
    The Hall on Franklin
    Main Course
    Ya Boy’s BBQ

Very interesting, always ready to support black owned businesses. I'm from spain and it's here is so hard to find them, even tho the country is getting more diverse.

Doe Al's, Big Tim's BBQ, and Atwater's, back in the day like 80's 90's back in the day... Best food ever.
Also pretty much anytime you'd see someone with a smoker in a parking lot, DO IT!

You know the food is about to be 🔥🔥🔥 when you see the smoker out back!

Thank you for creating and posting this video. I will try my best to visit all of them.
I found a video about another Black owned Seafood restaurant in Tampa, Ladies of the Sea and their main attraction is the Crabalicious.

This was a awesome video! Not only did you showcase the black owned businesses but you started the discussion of what’s really going on in the black owned restaurant scene. If you are ever in the Orlando area check out my TH-cam videos for Black Owned Businesses in Orlando.

For a black owned place cask was very white washed(employees & patrons)
Rose Bar across the street was a better vibe

There’s enough room in that area for both businesses to flourish. I’m glad you found one that suits you ☺️
