    It’s upgrade to every addon that can work with it. Slam dunk

    Blendulate is my new favourite word

      Haha. Me too. Though I kept saying it as the name of the Add On and then had to edit that out 😅

    Its amazing how 3d software can improve the imagination

      Its so true. I rarely sketch before I work as I have found actually 3D designing relatively raw allows me to be much more creative and the ideas seem to flow better. Im sure many would tell me that thats completely the wrong workflow but it seem to help me no end.

    Awesome stuff, as always! Man, I really need to do a deep dive into a Cablerator someday. I've had it for ages, but I feel like I've only ever used about 10% of what it's capable of. I'd definitely love to see more content exploring its ins and outs!

    Great video on using Cablerator and curve machine together! Something I did not even consider. I am going to have to start watching the videos on Patreon since I already subscribed there! Keep up the great work!

      👍🏻 Yeah I wasn't sure how well it would work but it turns out they combine really nicely.

      @@ArtisansofVaul Blendulate is not just a Bevel/Fillet. A Bevel is a special case of a Blendulated blend. Blendulate can edit existing blends, including the width and segment count, and it can undo blends. It also does non circular blends, and even S-shaped ones.

    I realize that this is probably a non-issue at this stage, seeing as how this video 5-6 months past... but am I the only one who has tried to replicate this process, following along as best as I could, only to have the connecting "plates" become slightly tilted the closer I get them to the 90 degree elbow(s)? I mean, it is reeeeeeeaally a small amount, but it is there no matter what i do. Almost as if the item being duplicated and slid(?) down the pipe, is being pushed towards the average of the blendulated section, not just the outermost closest vertex point. Again, it is a stupidly small amount of tilt happening, and I have not gone through to test it on larger vertex elbows, or small more dense elbows, just on this one example here that I am trying to follow along with. Anyway... just asking.

      That's really interesting. I'll have to have a try and see if the same happens. I'm not sure it's been updated since 4.0 was released. Thanks for bringing it up!

    • @keithmathews4605
      @keithmathews4605 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ArtisansofVaul Of course. I just went back and tried it again with much tighter elbows and a few with less... and it is there. Is it a big deal? No. Honestly, who in the crud is gonna notice a degree or two out when printing a 28mm mini? Clearly I need to learn to not be so anal about the stuff that really does not impact what will in all likelihood, never be seen on my prints :(

    • @ArtisansofVaul

      @keithmathews4605 I like being pedantic about stuff so that's pretty interesting to me 😅

    • @keithmathews4605
      @keithmathews4605 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ArtisansofVaul OK... after having fiddled with this a bit more, at least in Blender 4.0, if I take a segment between the elbows, and then subdivide it a time or two, it looks to force the plate that is being slid along the pipe to retain its proper orientation. Again, for lack of a better way to convey what I am trying to get across, that the flattened cylinder (plate) that is being slid along the pipe towards the next elbow, is being sent towards the average of the elbow vertices. Maybe it is being sent along towards the end of that elbow vertex group, I am not sure. Whatever the case, there is some axial tilt that is happening, and by introducing more vertices on the longer stretches, it "seems" to limit the tilt. Seriously, what do I know... I literally frustrated Gabe (Just Panels) to no end when I was trying to track down some issue with why the panels were not acting as they should, only to find that it was some stupid error on my part for not tracking down duplicate vertices that were on top of each other. I was ready to beat Blender with a shovel :(

    • @ArtisansofVaul
      @ArtisansofVaul  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @keithmathews4605 in that case I'm wondering if I noticed less because I got very high on the segment count so it's much less noticeable. 🤔
