    Any links available for the ramp that doubles as a bed extender and the one that features compact fold up taking up less space in the truck bed?

      Here is the bed extender ramp amzn.to/4fxA48z and the collapsible compact ramp... I can sell you the one in the video. $175 shipped to your door.

      @ thanks for the link! I’m tryin to figure out a solution to transport a motorcycle with a truck. It appears I may have to use extra straps to use it as a bed extender with a bike in the bed. I may just settle with an OEM bed extender and use a motorcycle carrier like a black widow MCC or SCC 600-R.
      Do you have a link to the one that collapses? I think you called it the Rush Ramp.

    @kyle Bradshaw how long were your preferred ramps and who makes the one for the bike?

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The ready ramp is 8' 3" and it is my favorite.

  • @rouldasse

    Did he ever talk about length of each ramps in this video?

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not specifically in inches… but showing the difference between shorter and longer ramps.

      He never did so that makes this video pretty useless

    I have the same harbor freight ramps and want to put the hinge on them. Where did you get those hinges?

      Thanks for watching. I removed 1/3rd of this harbor freight ramp www.harborfreight.com/automotive/ramps/loading-ramps/6-ft-x-9-inch-tri-fold-load-ramps-1-pair-96513.html and added it to the standard ramp www.harborfreight.com/automotive/ramps/loading-ramps/2-piece-steel-loading-ramps-44649.html

    What size lift is your truck?

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was a 6" Pro Runner lift from 4 Wheel Parts.

    Good on you for hooking someone up with that first ramp. If i still had my S10 i would take you up on it. I ended up getting a curved ramp off an auction site for $40 when it's listed retail price is at 119 on home depot. So i scored pretty well.

    Using one ramp for the bike and one for your yourself appears to be the way to go or one wide one. Fortunately my Promaster ramp entry is low.

    I used to use these with a heavy bike, super sketchy. Just go find a commercial park and borrow their concrete loading ramp late at night.

      Rush is the name of the ramp brand. I can measure it and weigh it to see what shipping would look like... IG me with your details so I can calculate the shipping please.

    Why go to the trouble of making a detailed video on truck ramps, and say nothing about the height of your truck deck or the length of each ramp type? The most important aspect of a loading ramp is the maximum safe ramp angle - but not a word.

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment. Yes. The break over angle is a very important one. Should have directly addressed that.

    Or you know, just a normal truck, that rush ramp would be perfectly fine if the truck didn't have a lift and tires on it.

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s correct!

      No, not everyone has a truck with a lift... but if they do these are my lessons learned!

      @@manybikes I do 75 with my mc trailer, no issues. So much easier to load/unload a bike than a truck.

      Not everyone has somewhere to put a trailer.
