Thank you for this very sad testimony to the state of the PT profession in Canada. I trained in Canada and wrote and passed the PCE and it was horrible for the totally unnecessary emotional stress, expense and how unrealistic it was. I cannot imagine what it would have been like to have it cancelled now for the third time, or the complete lack of communication by CAPR, Regulators, or the Association, who, prior to March, 2021, all supported this huge MONEY-GRAB! The sad reality is that this profession lacks leadership and is stuck in the past. If I had the chance to get in my time-machine, this profession would never have gotten a penny from me because I would have chosen differently. Be warned, PT is a sinking ship that will take your money and tell you stories, but leave you feeling very disappointed.

@@movementmastersphysio_50 I am not sure you understand who is in charge and what (white) power is all about. Canadian PT has a problem with racism, which is really about how it clings to power when it should be letting go in order to evolve and modernize. It refuses to do that and remains "infused in whiteness", as per the published literature. In order to change, it would need to admit there is a problem and then take ownership of itself, again, something it refuses to do. This is a profession that lacks the maturity to deepen, and lacks the leadership capabilities to see beyond its parochialism. My advice is to consider another career path. Seriously.

It depends on your level of interest..if you want more exposure into Physiotherapy then go for OTA-PTA and if you’re creative enough to make easy and active life of specially abled patients then go for recreation therapy
