Wow!!. Kano has changed a lot. I was born in Kano, and I grew up in Kano. But we left for good in 2012 during the last massacre by BH.
Based in Spain but Born, brought up and still rocking Kano ❤
Kano a Big City, I can’t wait for you to come to Kano again ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for Promoting my Channel ❤️
Your welcome

I left Kano finally to USA July 1991. I lived in Kano for 9yrs and was working for Alitalia Airlines in the 80s and early 90. It is good to see it again. Yes Kano has the biggest market in the Northern Region. Great job David, I love it. I had Italian friend Mr Galgani who use to buy hides and skins from the local people and sent them to Milan for use in making leather shoes and bags. Dan Gari Kano.
Awesome
I lived with my uncle in Sabon Gari for some months years ago. Middle road was where we lived. I love the city.
It's quite an interesting place
Beautiful, a lot has changed since I left sabo-gari in 2007, my last visit was in 2014. I grow up there and some of my family members are still living there. Now I can't live there, because I don't want to live anywhere in Nigeria that is more the six hours from my village in Imo state! Good work bro David, God bless you more in all you do
Thank you Obinna.
Am glad this video help bring back past memories of the place
Much love from NY 😍😍😍😍😍I can't wait to come visit my girlfriend in Sabon Gari 🔥🇳🇬🇺🇲❤️
i lived in kano before and i know the reality, many poor people here but even though it's hard, their faces are still smiling and that's their treasure❤
Thanks so much for this video, and the others on Kano. People like you are what we need to showcase the positives about Nigeria, and importantly, the fact that we will gain more by living together, than asking for the country to be divided. This was an eye opener for me. I haven't been to Kano in decades, but now, I am more encouraged and excited to visit. I really loved the market scene, and the narrative of the impact of the Igbo entrepreneurs in the leather market value chain vis-a-vis cross border trading with the Republic of Niger. You should do more of these types of videos showcasing the real Nigerians.. Great Job Sir!!!
Thank you Hessen1174, we will continue to do our little bit. God willing.
Pray you don’t go there and their riot meet you there, you will never pray to step there forever.
Watching from Jamaica my prayers go out to you guys
🙏

Hi,
My name is Zahraddeen, I'm 35yrs Old and I'm from kano.
The video was nice, but I don't think the coverage was well enuf to tell someone how big Sabon gari market is,That's just the tip of the iceberg.
I've been following your videos but when I watched this, I understand that your contents actually need More key activities of places you're visiting.
Thanks,
Keep up the good work.
Fair enough.
No one can cover an entire market that's why we did a drone shot of it as well.
When you said key activities can explain what you meant?
Exactly what am thinking.. what I see in this video is someone just walking on the main road.. u have not do the video of Kano market.. because am seeing nothing here.. enter the main market.. to video sef go hard you cus it will be congested
I'm from Rio/Brazil, I do speak English and French! Is Kano a safe place to visit? I would love to visit walking through those streets

Fascinating how many oil business there are
Yes. Mainly exported from the South to the North
Impressive video Boss
Nice video
Great work keep it up
Me I need a distributor in Kano for a product oooo how do I go about it
Northern Nigeria is not bad, you can stay there and do your business with out problem, it's just that the bad eggs are destroying not just the north but the whole country, I strongly believe the coming Peter Obi as the president of Nigeria,we will reunite, come 2023general election, God's willing, God save Nigeria
Actually shoes 👠👟 are made from Kano,go to the (kofar wanbai market)
Another nice video, 👍
Kano is relatively peaceful like he said but just like other parts of the country, political periods are very unsettling period.
Sabon Gari is indeed a huge place but it's about to be dwarfed by the new market being built by the state government in partnership with brains $ hammers. To be the largest in West Africa with hotels and warehouses included.
Most of the traders understand English well even if they don't speak it well.
You can also learn conversational Hausa within 6 months of living in Kano which also makes it easier for nonnatives to set up a business.
Northern Nigeria is the bridge between North Africa and West Africa so naturally, its markets will always have an economic advantage.
But there will always be a rivalry between Kaduna and Kano 😂.
Will the traders be willing to move to the new market been built?
Many times the location and accessibility will be the issue.
Moreover for some reason people just prefer unorganized market
@@DavidNkwa
The new market is not for these kind of traders, its more for industrial level merchants.
For example, the largest pharmaceutical market will be there so agencies like NAFDAC and NDLEA will also have offices there. It is called "Kano Economic City".
What is the rivalry between Kaduna and Kano all about? I hope you don't mind sharing?
@@mahmoudtokura 🤣🤣😀actually Kaduna people prejudice on the success and development of kano and its people. So for us there is no rivalry.
@@saheedaileru6850 it's a historical things due political and power rivalry of our forefathers. We banter and call each other our sla@ves. A healthy rivalry, I married from Kaduna so till date my family still banter my in-laws, kanawa believed they brought civilization to people of Kaduna and it's also vice versa
How are you in Kano and referring to Igbo land and Yoruba Land as East and West? They are both South
Ok Sir
They are not south, Yorubaland is West, Igboland is East, Hausaland is North, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers etc are south and other minorities are Middlebelt.
They keep telling us the north is bad… but look at this 🥰🥰🥰
Northerners should come to the east too and see we’re nice people
They are there already
Nnamdi Kanu has brainwashed the people that Fulani want to kill them and Funalize the land so they need ESN. Our people are too stupid!
@@DavidNkwa more of them should come
I serve here in Sabon gari during my NYSC in 2018.
Nice we have different tribes there.
Good to know
The root cause of every riot needs is very important to avoid a repeat of such. Let us not forget that no matter what and despite the fact that we are human being we still have some areas that constitute differences which we need to respect. Most especially religion and politics. Nigeria constitution needs to take care of the local issues that make us different. Nigeria is a big country made of small countries or nations while those small countries are made of smaller countries or nations. Once you can respect the religion, tradition and politics of the local areas we found ourselves, then the problems will disappear.

If you know how many Igbos that have been slaughtered in that Kano you won't be talking shit. Since the civil war until this last few years that the killings stopped. Igbos living on Kano must know that before the ran from Kano to Kaduna they will all be killed. I remember the killings our pple suffered in kofar ruwa and how many bodies that was recovered. I think Igbos should bring their goods sell and go back no need of living because the culture and religious practice in that state is very very dangerous. I know kano since the 80s and i lost my uncle in one of the massacre of Kano
Wow sorry to hear the sad story though
@spider Dike . It has been evident those igbos love to live in kano because it's peaceful and profitable but people like you are busy trying hard to make it look ugly and it would not work. This guy went around and asked non indigenous people they views and thank God they presented a good one on kano state and northerners. Hope u will be a good ambassador in the future.
@@drinkskhalifa7153 look I don't know why you keep talking this way and I don't know how old you are. If you are old enough you won't be telling an Igbo person that Kano is very peaceful. No matter how difficult a place seems to be Igbos survive. Igbos lives in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Oman, Iran and other dangerous places and some will always talk good about that place. I have known Kano and the entire northern states since early 80s. All those pple you saw talking are under 40yrs and knows nothing about Kano. If I give you the list of Igbos who has been killed or disappeared in Kano state alone you won't believe it and that doesn't mean that Kano doesn't have good guys. I have a lot of friends from almost the entire state of the Nigerian federation but it doesn't stop me from speaking out the wrongs of each area. So Khalifa telling me to be good ambassador is like telling me to promote falsehood ir lie by telling pple you will live your normal life in Kano. I will never advice a northerner to go to the southeast and live normal northern life it won't work I will rather tell them the difference so when they get their they respect pples culture and believes just like every Igbo going to the North must be careful talking religion or trying to discuss Islam and also must be ready to accept bad words like Arne, and kafiri, maguzawa and other islamic words against him
@@SpiderDike-kb8dh if you're talking about history if history doesn't change then the whole world is not safe for human . You got your experience and now things change for good but u refused to accept the peace effort. Things happened years back and it no longer happening now, may these generations are better and they decided to do things differently but people like were working tirelessly to breach that. When was the last time you heard religious crises or ethnic???
@@drinkskhalifa7153 I refused to use derogatory words against you but you said I am fooling myself. I don't know if you have ever lost a loved one maybe ur father to barbarians in the name of religion. If you loose your source of livelihood to some ethnic group in the name of protecting their religion I wonder how you will praise such group or even wish them peace. I speak and write Hausa language fluently and I still follow the sermons of many of the islamic clerics and I know very well that crises will surely erupt one day and it will consume those who relaxed carelessly in those areas. Any issue that has to do with Islam in the north is very dangerous and can't be quelled easily even the law enforcement agents who suppose to save you are part of the religion and has the same believe. Yes islamic religious uprising has stopped for some time now in the north because the Northerners are battling with another islamic ideology that is against their normal routine making the other pple less problem of them for now but I will tell you that when it calms down islamic riot must happen again in Kano. Though the southeast has learnt to retaliate by killing northerners as well but it's only that the calibar and numbers of Northerners found in the southeast are very small compare to the population of Igbos in the north. I wish Nigeria disintegrates with the islamic Republic of Nigeria and the people's Republic of Nigeria and you will see how everywhere will be progress and development
After all the modernization this mumu buhari marginalized the south East, south south I thought Kano and all the northern states will be like Dubai.... mumu dey smell.. we still better pass them one million times
What marginalisation did Buhari marginalise South East? Did Jonathan also marginalise South East?
@@okiemute7744 he's a pig🐗 pipo like him won't allow Peter obi to win common election he's a mugu
You're 100 % right, today being the 7th of October 2022, there's a UN report on TVC station, that Nigeria and Congo Kinshasa especially northern Nigeria are the two countries living in extreme poverty ☺☺
But inspite of that shocking and mindboggling figure, they're still supporting their candidate for further exploitation😀😀
Product of broken condom what are you trying to say?
Okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok okokokokokok
Nigeria is just the same everywhere. Always chaotic
Lol
Have places have to been to in Nigeria to make such assumption
I will request you to follow, jaipur dialogue channel.
In future what problem Africa children can face.
Actually problem is coming on all population.
I will not write, you follow, you will understand.
Jai shree ram.
Sir David, Don't forget that in that Kano State and Plateau state were over 40,000 Igbos killed in 1966, that triggered the declaration of Biafra as a separate Nation from Nigeria by Ojukwu before the war broke out.
Igbos, Be wise at least for once.
You will very soon join them idiot
Now we are living peacefully with more Igbo men trillionaires investing in north than south over 44 trillion of igbos money invested in northern Nigeria not even quarter of it invested in the south so chill
Thanks a lot for the information... I need to speak to you bro... Can I gave your insta ID?
