I who have lots of books (4 Billy bookcases double stacked) would suggest that you put ones you have read & are saving on the bottom with those yet to be read on shelves clear to your eye view ... if that makes sense ... books are a comforting delight & all are pleased you are shelving! waving from Cambridge UK oh, small horizontal stacks look good mixed with uprights ...

I spotted A Room Called Earth on your Unread shelf. Personally, I LOVED that book, and the author is releasing her second novel I believe in early 2025 which if you read the synopsis (and look at the gorgeous cover) I think you might be into - just saying 🌼
