The whole "tsunami story" reminded me of one of my own experiences. I was playing an online kids game (I was 11) and I met this girl, we started talking and role-playing etc. Then she turns to me and says "im really scared," so I asked "why?" She replies "tornado near my house." She went offline suddenly and she was never online again. The next day a video of a tornado badly destroying a house popped up in my recommended on youtube. This was absolutely terrifying to me, that I was possibly the last person she talked to before that happened.

After about 30 minutes I think he logged off. I hadn’t friended him, but I probably should have so I could ask him about it lol. He was probably trolling, but it still kinda scared me.

My friend I know in real life decided to make that joke in a private discord server with 5 other guys. We agreed to make it as ridiculous as possible. This has no twist or anything spooky. We just added on to it by saying stuff like "I know your license plate." "What are the odds, I do too."

youre either making this up, or it was one of your IRL friends trolling you. at best you can get an IP from the lobby(and you cant really do much with that). even with static IP its not precise enough to get an address. its POSSIBLE to do things with just an IP although very time consuming and luck dependent. its not like a "hacker" can snap his fingers and all your info is presented to him on a silver platter . youve either been trolled by acquaintances or youve really been pissing people off there for a long time and youve ended up on some database somewhere

The creepiest encounter I had online when I was eleven or twelve years old. I made a buddy on Animal Jam who I became close to. The items he had and the look of his fox indicated he was probably male. I didn’t mind, as we were just friendly for a while. We’d meet at Jam Parties and chat in each other’s dens. Some of their buddies would joke that I was their girlfriend, to which he told them to shut up. I don’t remember the whole situation, but I think he came into my den and asked for advice. I think he was having bad feelings about himself, so I offered him comfort. This is the creepy part: One day he came into my den and said something that was so unexpected I’ll never forget it. “I’m sorry.” he had said. When I asked him why he said. “I’m a bad person.” When I reassured him that he wasn’t, he said “Yes I am. I’m an adult.” Before I could ask any further, he left. When I tried to check my buddy list to find him and check in on him, he had deleted his account. I still don’t know what happened to him, what provoked him to leave… or what his intentions were. I’m not too concerned because Animal Jam doesn’t allow personal information. But it still leaves me confused and disturbed to this day.

I was playing WoW around 10 years ago in a max-level zone, and an under-geared, under-leveled female player ran up to me and whispered me. She had very poor grammar and sort of seemed to talk like a kid. She said the guy behind her (I could see him; he had appropriate gear and level) was "helping her for a long time but won't leave her alone now" and that she now "owes him pictures and her phone number." *She asked me if she actually owes him anything. * I told her of course not, taught her how to /ignore, and to never give out info, and that she should log off for a while if he's following her. I thought she was pulling my leg until she actually DID log off soon after, and the guy started whispering me rapidly, asking where she went and what she said to me. He told me she is a liar, and I shouldn't listen to or trust her. Hard to say for sure, but it was pretty weird and I had a bad feeling. Predators like that are scary.
#13 could have been me. I was living in Japan when the tsunami hit and I lost my computer to flooding. Never went back to WoW for some reason (other than it took a while for me to get a new PC). That tsunami changed me.
While I was at the “Hi, are you ok?” Virus thing, I got a message in another language that I didn’t understand that scared the sheet outta me. Turns out it was just my data provider giving me a promotion package.
I once got two voicemails that weren’t meant for me ( one in I think Japanese) and two texts from two different numbers one in Vietnamese that i put in google translate and it said “ When can I go eat my sister?” I was super freaked out and blocked all the numbers and deleted all the messages and voicemails. I have never given my number to anyone but my family members and close friends and I have all those in my contacts. This was only like a week ago. I have never told anyone and I forgot about it until now.

The creepiest encounter I had online when I was eleven or twelve years old. I made a buddy on Animal Jam who I became close to. The items he had and the look of his fox indicated he was probably male. I didn’t mind, as we were just friendly for a while. We’d meet at Jam Parties and chat in each other’s dens. Some of their buddies would joke that I was their girlfriend, to which he told them to shut up.
I don’t remember the whole situation, but I think he came into my den and asked for advice. I think he was having bad feelings about himself, so I offered him comfort.
This is the creepy part:
One day he came into my den and said something that was so unexpected I’ll never forget it.
“I’m sorry.” he had said. When I asked him why he said. “I’m a bad person.”
When I reassured him that he wasn’t, he said “Yes I am. I’m an adult.”
Before I could ask any further, he left. When I tried to check my buddy list to find him and check in on him, he had deleted his account.
I still don’t know what happened to him, what provoked him to leave… or what his intentions were. I’m not too concerned because Animal Jam doesn’t allow personal information. But it still leaves me confused and disturbed to this day.
The Toymaker26 one gave me chills when that picture popped up for a sec (I was watching at 3am so curled up in my bed)

I was playing WoW around 10 years ago in a max-level zone, and an under-geared, under-leveled female player ran up to me and whispered me. She had very poor grammar and sort of seemed to talk like a kid. She said the guy behind her (I could see him; he had appropriate gear and level) was "helping her for a long time but won't leave her alone now" and that she now "owes him pictures and her phone number." *She asked me if she actually owes him anything. * I told her of course not, taught her how to /ignore, and to never give out info, and that she should log off for a while if he's following her. I thought she was pulling my leg until she actually DID log off soon after, and the guy started whispering me rapidly, asking where she went and what she said to me. He told me she is a liar, and I shouldn't listen to or trust her. Hard to say for sure, but it was pretty weird and I had a bad feeling. Predators like that are scary.

Turns out it was just my data provider giving me a promotion package.
I once got two voicemails that weren’t meant for me ( one in I think Japanese) and two texts from two different numbers one in Vietnamese that i put in google translate and it said “ When can I go eat my sister?” I was super freaked out and blocked all the numbers and deleted all the messages and voicemails. I have never given my number to anyone but my family members and close friends and I have all those in my contacts. This was only like a week ago. I have never told anyone and I forgot about it until now.
