Such a disgrace that Timmy Weah got so few questions. Palpable disrespect by the reporters. I get that Pulisic is face of the program, but this team would not be close to the same without Tim Weah. How many clutch goals did he get us in qualifying. He brings an element to the attack that no one can replicate. And he has such an amazing story. He should get his own press conference.

Ikr....just watched Japan's game and they allowed a goal for Japan that was clearly out of bounds. But the nub of Weah's elbow was offsides and it gets called back. Imo, if it's so close that u have to use specialized technology to judge it down to cms then it's not offsides. Should have been 2-0.
Yeah why is nobody talking about that? The graphic they showed and the picture on the field the defender was in a totally different stance. It’s super suspect to me. I know it doesn’t really matter but it also does it’s a World Cup and that was a good goal

8+ years ago going into this rd in Brazil was light years different. We knew we basically had no shot to get past that Belgium team. I’m kinda wishing it was a different team than we are facing in the rd 16 because I really like this Dutch team. Anyway, Pulisic is dead on about the team unity! We can see it and that along with talent is why we are quietly optimistic. Regardless what happens, This tournament has proved a seismic event has taken place in US soccer many people still haven’t realized especially those outside the US fan base. Our most talented player has barely played. They guys coming up behind this group maybe even stronger overall and individually than many of these high profile guys. A lot of that is thanks 🙏 to Sir Christian and his many, many sacrifices.

Much more to that than meets the eye. Pulisic did 2 try-outs for PSV and was pretty close in possibly joining the youth squads there. (Passport options for Croatia due to family). There were delays and better options one year later in Germany. He played alongside Gakpo in the tournament try outs and could have been his team mate for years if things turned out differently. They will be opponents tomorrow and next year in the PL.

@@mediansky5232 I think the reporter was Dutch and that he wasn’t sure if his question came across well. There was a noticeable confusion. Don’t think he was pushing for an answer deliberately if he remembered Gakpo, moreso wanted to bring up the fact that they had played together when they were young and are now opponents. It was cringe, but almost the whole media is with their dumb questions on every press conference.
