If these are peel off then really the only layer that's touching your lips is the first layer you put on because when you layer it, the second layer is just going to go on top of that other layer that you're peeling off. It's not going to touch your lip unless you do it quickly enough that you get the spots that you missed on the lip but if it already dries then it's not going to actually touch your lip.
