What's captivating is your awareness to experience the perfect post apocalyptic frame within the bigger settings it's like your drawn in by the vibe of the Beauty of the way nature is bringing back to life the decaying scene. Taking us through the lense as you mooch fookin magical Clarkey 👌keep rollin... Takes me back to Salford docks in the early 80's bomin round the cobbled roads on our peds..
My family lived here. That mill you said is the tobacco warehouse which is now the titanic and luxury apartments. Eldon grove is now a listed building no plans for it sadly, beautiful building and a lovely community. Loved this will be showing my mum this ❤
Yeah I just didn't realize from my perspective I've actually stood beneath it before lol and thanks I hope your mum enjoys the film and thanks for watching!
Absolutely Banging Video This...I Passed Here In The - 197o,s And Can,t Believe Just How Much It Has Falling Into Disrepair But Its Created An Amazing Landscape Clarky You Did A Great Job Of Capturing The Essence Of An A Long Dead Landscape For Us The Lighting Helped ..There Was A Softness Which Ran Along Side The Buildings ..The Whole Thing Just Fit Mate....For Me The Iron Lamps Screamed Post Apocalyptic ....Frank & Lee....
Sorry forgot to say that the transition shots were total gold! And you are right, nothing you do is boring mate, i would watch you mooch through an empty shell, cos you would make it interesting somehow! 😂
I bet this place was kinda a nice place to live back in the day, it surely is built well as they all were when builders were amazing, degradation and nature mixed as its own beauty n you captured it, mint vid
Oh wow Clarky, what a beautiful building, how can it be allowed to fall apart, especially when there are people with nowhere to call home... Love the black and white pics, showing a time when there was a real sense of community. I love Liverpool, wish I had wandered round a bit more though. Thank you for the video and much love from New Zealand x
@@karenwilliams2118 thanks very much Karen I totally agree mate and yeah Liverpool is actually a really cool place man so I might be doing a lot more down that way. An upcoming film is an old 1800s children's home / Roman Catholic convent we found there!
What is needed, a poor lad that made good coming back to his city seing it needs saving. Jumping in to buy , revamp and giving scouse locals a chance to get on the property ladder, now theres a legacy to leave.✌️☘️
Clarky is an amazing explorer, gives his all,and puts alot of effort into his videos, would be great for you,to join a live chat when clarky goes live, have an amazing bunch of followers, and friends
There's an old bingo hall at the bottom of park road in L8 in Liverpool by where I live it would be cool to see you mooch around that place also the abandoned church for the deaf of princes avenue
Thanks Clarky, brilliant work on that one mate, it's a shame that a grade 2 listed building has been left to be eaten by the Budlea plants and pigeon sh-t. I'm not certain but I think that the mill was Albert dock buildings (maybe). In your "out tro" the first two old photos looked to have Bill Shankley in them or some old chap that looked exactly like him. Take care and all the best. Stevie
No your right mate it was bill shankly and yeah I think it's the tobacco warehouse I just didn't realize I kinda lost my orientation but I have actually been there pal!
Wow clarky, grandaughter to free to watch, wow what an amazing place, you've excelled yourself on this video,it's such a shame, that it's sat like that, wouldn't it be great to recreate, and remodlelise just ABIT,from the pics of what it was,to what it became, just so glad to could capture this, for vour viewers, and for future reference, keep up the good content clarky, doing yourself proud, and that skyline,is something to just sit down and take in,with the views,is worth the video it's self👌👏👏👏👏👏👏
Some wonderfully evocative imagery there. I had a look on old maps and amazingly there were two of these back to back, the other one must have gone a long time ago
The stills at the end were something extra special Clarky, as it was, brilliant film and super interesting! Bet those walls could tell some stories !!! Thank you!!
Another belter Clarky mate , what an explore. I've seen some cracking photos from back in the day. Makes you think how we can let such great buildings like this just rot . Thank you for your explore of Another great find . Keep it up mate 👍
CHEERS BROTHER I do actually transition to a few at the very end of the film. What a cracking place to go up man literally stood on each other's toes but in an era where you actually wanted to be doing that as opposed to isolating ourselves in our homes to our tech! All the best man.
@TheUrbanCollectiveWeFilmIt yeah,I did like what you did at the end especially with the sound it brought life to the photos. I've yet to see one of your videos without the notorious cock 🤣🤣 never knew there was so many variations 👍
Cool to look around in this state but what a shame it's left to slowly decay and fall apart. I guess it just doesn't fit in to the social narrative that modern authorities want to tell. But this is real history.
It's Fekking hit me that one for some reason. I reckon the shipping container and taupe sand bags scattered about, someone's started to do the place up and gave up. Another good one Clarkey son.
Lovely building there, unfortunately the state of it is probably deliberate, because of its Grade 2 listing they cant demolish it, so they go in take out windows and doors ( to let vandals in ) knowing they will set fires, and they take roof tiles off so the pigeons can do their thing with their shit, cos pigeon shit will rot a building faster that just the elements. I know this cos the council did it to the grade 2 listed i grew up in, they couldn't demolish it ( for a developer to build million pound apartments on ) till all the floors had fallen through to the cellar. It was a beautiful building from the late 17 or early 18 hundreds and had balconies with fancy ironworks all around, it made me so mad when they did that! NIce explore Clarky thx 🥰🥰
Wow a great video. Really enjoyed it and the transition at the end made it. Such history left to rot. Very sad. Looks like it was being cleared out for restoration or maybe to reduce fire risk. 🤔

The social history with its poverty and relentless capitalism is very interesting, excellent presentation, thanks. Salford
Absolute pleasure pal all the best
Great explore, shame they let these places go like that.
Cheers mate and yeah an absolute pointless waste of what could be something very special indeed.
This building was a set peice in a British version of war of the world's about 7 years ago
Yeah I since found out mate didn't think much of that version though to be honest I think Spielberg's is the best
Someone should restore it.
Should take a look at the hotel california in Birkenhead. Or the old centrel hotel
I definitely will mate cheers!
