To me,When Lord Brevon had Lilac captive,off screen he takes some of her DNA and uses it to create an evil clone of her,Amethia.While Lilac is caring,heroic and merciful,Amethia is the exact opposite of her being cold,sadistic and merciless.Amethia's main goal is to eliminate Lilac,The very one she is cloned from and prove she is superior in every way.While she does share Lilac's speed and skills, Amethia has some destructive powers of her own.While Brevon had made her to be his enforcer and key to destroying Lilac,upon her creation Amethia immediately turns on him declaring that she does things on her own terms and doesn't like being ordered around
Lilac knows a little goodness is in Amethia even though her doppelganger never admits it.Lilac has always been victorious in their scuffles because she has a heart and always puts others first while Amethia cares for herself and is willing to deceive and step on others to further her own goals
(Edit to make the parenthesis recognized as not part of the link) My own Amethia story is strongly built upon the one initial video that was based on Shadow vs Boom Shadow, except instead of Zamasu the Wildcat (who's retconned and replaced in my version of that universe), it's Mephiles who's advising Amethia. As for what actually happened, it's kinda similar to the Goku Black Other Origin story (th-cam.com/video/Zxt0jLZifFw/w-d-xo.html ), except the ones killed were her friends, and she didn't actually see who did it (but she did watch as a shadowy hedgehog figure killed her friends). Mephiles told her the one behind it is Sonic (as usual for him this is both the truth and not, as it was actually EXE) and that Lilac is a Sonic incarnation (again both the truth and not, Lilac is Sonic's Avalician counterpart). So basically, Mephiles is getting her to wipe out the universe of an alternate timeline version of herself, and probably plans to afterwards reveal to her that she just killed not only an alternate timeline version of herself, but also alternate timeline versions of those same friends she tried to avenge. Of course, once Amethia sees Carol and Milla actually rush to Lilac's aid... Amethia: _choking Mephiles against a wall_ "Explain! NOW!"

That was an AMAZING fight, truly incredible to see Sonic and Lilac work together against Lilac's dark counterpart. I do have one question though. Who voiced Jack at the end? Unless if you do voice acting.
