The Harsh Reality for Women Entrepreneurs Seeking Funding

Corporate retailers dropping DEI and supporting BIPOC owned brands is a HUGE conversation right now, but did you know that most most female owned businesses don’t even make it off the ground due to lack of funding!? 🤯

🔴 less than 2% if female owned businesses receive venture capital funding
🔴 only .2% of those businesses make it to an exit
🔴 AND even less than that are owned by women of color
Shocking, no? What can we do as a community to support female business owners and prioritize giving our $$$ to support these amazing businesses over convenience?
