Ashland Mountain Challenge 2021 / California Enduro Series Season Finale & 3rd Place Overall Finish

- California Enduro Series 2021 Season Finale is here in Ashland Oregon!
Absolutely love racing out here! This is my second time racing out in Ashland but my first time ever completing the entire season of racing for the California Enduro Series.
Going into this final race of the year I was sitting in 5th place for the overall series rankings & it was my goal to finish out strong while also riding smart and consistent.
This video will be the Full Race POV showing. All 5 Stages in the order they were raced.
When your racing it’s hard to repeat all that you practice, but being able to see everything after the race is always helpful when looking back. I’m stoked that I was able to make it to each and every race available for this years CES & I feel a sense of accomplishment just having every single stage on TH-cam for you all to see. Hope that my videos can serve as some sort of inspiration and entertainment for everyone watching.
Special thanks to MTB_NorCal.Org for taking me into their family & also giving me a team to race for! It’s been a special honor being their Ambassador! I Absolutely love everyone involved with MTB_NorCal and all others who we continue to meet and those who help grow our MTB communities from a grass roots level by giving back as a nonprofit and putting money back into the trails we all love to ride! They truly are about love and the stoke of everything MTB! Don you were an awesome team captain & Shon you are the backbone and beating heart behind all that MTB_NorCal stands for. Can’t wait to see what more will unfold over the years & I’m blessed to be working with such an awesome group!
If it wasn’t for recent life circumstances (first Covid & then my Job burning down last year) this entire racing season may not have been fully possible.. So with all things considered, I’m still very grateful for life’s turn of events which actually enabled me the time and ability to make it to every race this year.
Lastly I’m so shocked with my own success and achievements this year… it was mostly a huge test and trail to see how I could fair out racing the entire season and for my first time in the Expert category. The fact that I was able to ride consistent & give it my all for the whole year of racing really gets me fired up! I’ll forever get to say that I raced the whole 2021 season and ended up 3rd 🥉 place in the overall Standings for Expert men 30-39 🤘🏼
