The Hardest Enduro Race in California?! Northstar Enduro on California’s Enduro Series/ Tahoe Ca.

Arguably the toughest race in the entire California Enduro series.
The Northstar Enduro in Tahoe California is by far the hardest & most physically demanding races I’ve ever endured. A serious test of speed, gnar, dust and strength. No rider is left untested on every level of bike racing!
So incredibly proud and happy to take a podium here and on my new enduro bike from Norco Bicycles. The Sight C1 29er is one helluva capable mountain bike. I’ve ridden many bikes and this one fits me and my body geometry extremely well & intuitive for only having ridden it for a month and a half. Balance is key & throughout the whole race I felt mostly in control and with plenty of forgiveness when I made mistakes. Bikes are getting so well dialed to individuals and their riding preferences/styles now and geometry alone has helped me become a better rider and push my limits even further.
Northstar is such a great place for an Enduro, thanks to all the volunteers and people who made these race events possible 🏁🚴🏼‍♂️✨🫶🏼

My son and I ride Northstar every weekend. The camera does not show how gnarly river sticks is. I prefer sticks and stones. I think river sticks is the hardest run at Northstar. You have to have so much speed and stay committed. 💯

Yea it’s wild how much the gopro can hide in some of those shadows! Definitely agree River Sticks is extremely hard to go full speed and not be scared or make a mistake!

Great video, some fun scary stuff, thanks for sharing! I have to say... as an event promoter I'd be docking every one of the early starters 10 seconds for jumping the start.

Thanks, but we use a chip timing ⏱️ system… so when they count you down from 5, you can go on 5 if you want kUz the timing doesn’t start till after the first 15-20 feet after you cross the secondary chip activator. They section us off every 30 seconds so you’re either going to catch someone or be caught by someone if your speeds are very dissimilar. Also everyone we race with ends up knowing each other very well, so we will follow or be followed by friends who you know will be faster or close to you in skill/timing to avoid dust or conflict of having to pass in a race run.
