    I went there in 1974. I don’t even remember Rv Park back then. Life with Ken and Jane!

    Thanks for the review. My wife and I drove by there in May. I was in the area for a 2 day seminar so my wife came and extended it to a week vacation. We drove the Apache trail one day and drove by it. I wondered what the park was like. It was our first time to that part of the US and we loved it. We are planning to retire early in a couple of years and will likely be back in the area st some point.

    Nice video lived in the valley all my life born and raised, it’s amazing what we have in our own backyard and take for granted, always wanting to hook the RV up and head elsewhere especially in the summertime when it’s 110 in the shade. In the past we’ve enjoyed the Maricopa County parks and state parks but the snowbirds snatch them up pretty quick, enjoy your stay.

    Great review! We were in Mesa and Apache Junction in May and loved it! It made our Best of 2017 list! We didn’t stay at the state park (I need my full hookups), but did some hiking there. We also drove the Apache Trail! Have a great 2018!

    Put this one on my radar since I have family about an hour away. (Sun City) The website didn't say if it handle a 45 ft motorhome with a towed but they looked big enough.

      Don't go there.. It's horrible.. Lol. Nah, it's really nice, so nice we can hardly get a spot. Its in our backyard and can go there and still work.

    Happy New Year to you both! You always do a fantastic job in your descriptions of the area you are visiting. Hopefully we will be back on the road this year. Narrowing down a few fifth wheels and diesel pushers to consider again.
    How much are the fee's in that state park?

    • @Wildonthego

    First time question. What kind of RV insurance do you recommend for fulltime Rver's. Which one has worked best for you?

    Are the sites first come or reservations?

    • @Wildonthego
      @Wildonthego  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Reservations are encouraged, as "first come..." might not be available at times. Thanks for watching, liking, commenting, and subscribing. :)

    • @DP-us8xq
      @DP-us8xq 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sandra Campbell we just spent four days here. We had reservations but had to move three times to be able to stay in the park those four days. In other words the park was very crowded this time of year. My suggestion is you make reservations. Don't rely on getting a spot with "First Come First Serve.

    Nice place but why not full hookups

    • @Wildonthego
      @Wildonthego  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question for the State of Arizona. It's common there. The ability to have FHU exits at Lost Dutchman State Park, because the "Host" sites have them. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    2:07 Why camp there, camp out somewhere in the tonto 2.8 million acres it provides. They will never find you.

      We didn't mention where we camped :) Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
